Whisper chat tab

The whisper chat tab, sometimes keeps flashing, but no one has started a conversation there...

really, really annoying...

yeah thats a bug, either ask someone to whisper you or use the /w username command to whisper yourself and it will go away.

I get this fairly often and wondered if it was linked to which browser used?

It's probably caused when someone whispers you when you're offline.

It always happens right after logging in, and never when I'm online, so seems a good explenation. Happens in different browsers, and indeed stop when someone (or yourself) whispers you.

To stop it flashing type /w a b it will stop it

I haven't come across this on the forum (and not on verified bug list) so posting it here.

Often I when I log in, my whisper tab in the chat window is blinking like there is a message when there is not. It stays like that until I write a whisper message to someone. Can't remember how many of my guild members got the message "got the blinking tab bug again" (to fix it) from me. I don't like having to do that every time.

You guys at BB know about this?

It is a known bug that has been here ever since I can remember. Strange I could not find a verified post for it in the bug section though maybe Fexno can make one.
