shop not working

My shop items are all grey and not functioning... can not buy anything since yesterday. no further problems as far as I can see.... but I like to buy something..... what can I do?

Is it part of a quest you need to do? If so do the quest and the shop should work again

Yep. Check in your Quest Book for 'New Settlers' (Buy Foreign Settler Family from the Black Market (that sounds awful...)) or 'Missing Tools' (Buy Tools from Resources,) when either one is open everything else in the Shop is blocked and gems can't be spent on anything.

thanks very much.... indeed I needed to buy tools from it and now it is working again...... I am hurying to shop for some parrots now :)
