View Full Version : LAst Bandit Camp on Homeland - Guard Dogs

Not sure if it's just me, but there seems to be a bug with the guard dogs on the last bandit camp on my homeland. This is the second time that I've sent 3 x generals (600 troops) to eliminate this camp. The dog hit points said they only had 660 left to eliminate (124 dogs), but no matter what I throw at them, they don't reduce in numbers. This time I sent - First wave 200 Militia, 2nd wave 35 cavalry, 75 Militia & 90 Long Bowman, 3rd wave 100 Soldiers, 100 Long Bowman. Similar waves sent first time round when I tried over a week ago.

Anyone else have this problem, as I’m over losing all my troops, with absolutely no gain! Any insight would be greatly appreciated .

You need to send 200 cavalry, CharlieRose.

Dogs are 'first attack' troops, so will wipe out the majority of your army before they even have the chance to retaliate.
Cavalry are your first attack troops.

Sending 200C means they will ALL get wiped out, but all the dogs will be eliminated, leaving just Wild Mary to deal with.

Wild Mary is the first to take damage, so without cav you just end up with all your force trying to kill Mary before they attack any dogs, the cavs have "attack weakest target" in addition to the first strike, so they are the only unit you have available which can ignore Wild Mary and go for the dogs first.

Thanks all for your replies and comments, it's greatly appreciated. I will go in with the Cavalry and see what happens. What did you use to take out Wild Mary?

search these forums for battle guides. There's plenty of them.

And think about it before you send in 200 cavalry: there are only 124 dogs left...

If you just have Wild Mary left, this combination of troops should work.
