hey all )

I was finding switching to full screen mode in Chrome fiddly and got a very useful tip from someone in in-game chat, so want to share it:


---- To switch to full screen in Chrome, highlight the address, then press F11

---- To exit full-screen mode, move the mouse cursor to the upper edge of the screen - and small Full Screen message should pop down, click on it.

Also, check the in-game fix for tonight's maintenance, F11 should work from within the game screen if it works.

i've never had any problem with f11 it has always given full screen for me

Doesn't work for me, f11 just turns my sound on and off :(

Sounds like you have some function keys on your keyboard that replace the standard F keys, try looking for a button that disables them on the keyboard (Normally an F or something similar)

Pressing Function + F11 should do your sound, just F11 alone should toggle between full screen and normal.

yes, had an awful Micro$loth keyboard that always defaulted to the wrong use of the function keys, so had to keep pressing a button marked "Fn" to get them to do what normal keyboards did. Replaced it with a proper kb.

The Test Server now has a 'Full Screen' button at the bottom of the Portrait Menu (between the 'cog' Settings button, and the red Power/Logout button). I assume it will be migrated to the live servers in the very near future.

This new button works fine in Chrome for toggling Full-Screen mode both on and off.
