What means the sentence in the Merchant description : "pays off within 600 days (at base level)" ?

It's a comparison between the price of the mine and the price of the copper deposits you can also buy in the merchant.

A level 1 copper mine produces 225 ore every 12 hours (as closest possible walking distance). So, in 600 days, that's 270,000 ore which has cost you 20K gems. This works out at 13.5 ore per gem.

The deposits in the merchant are 35 gems for 500 ore, which is 14.3 ore per gem.

Basically, they're justifying the high price as a long term investment.

can endless copper mines be buffed?

this is wrong, because obvisously an endless cooper mine will not be left level 1, but will become level 5.

So in 600 days you will have 270k*5 = 1.350K ore,

The deposits bought from the merchant will of course have the same value, since they run out simply faster.

Read something properly before you say it's wrong

Sorry i read it properly still wrong.

To put in more accurately.

It is not exactly wrong, but is an explantion of totally no value, since cooper mines will be upgraded for sure, you compare apples to oranges.

It worked on the test server, hopefully someone will confirm it working on live as well for us shortly

Now the next thing is to make it movable so we do not need to waste 8+ days with no production on ea mine:D

But this faster mining will be permanent or will be fixed as a bug? I don't want to spend 2K granite again(needed for lvl5 as far as I remember) for something that will be claimed a bug.

the faster mining is a geologist skill, not a bug

borobe

Right, faster mining is geologist skill. But is it suppose to work with the regular copper mines only? Is this skill affect Endless Copper Mine as well or BB missed that and will fix this later as a bug? I asking for mods/admin to confirm what is the case.

This works on the Endless Copper Mines as well, as far as I'm aware it hasn't been listed as a bug and has remained there since being mentioned on the test server.

On a side note, Mods are not BB Employees, we are just regular gamers who lend a hand to help out the community.

ok, this is my plan. I'll wait till lots of players have fast & endless coppermines.
Then and only then, I will report it as a bug.

Or you can all send me 25% of the production of your fast & endless coppermines ;)

Anyway, this just means copper will be dirt cheap after a while.

yes and BB will sell a few endless copper mines for dirty price ;)

y is this a bug? not like you don't benifith from the double speed thing. can run lvl 3's for minimal costnow put 1 buff on it rebuild it in 9-12 hours.

not that unbalanced from before comparing pre and post to endless mines

With the current price, you only have to wait 4 years for that.

Endless Copper Mines are a costy commodity, so you don't ever need to rebuild up to 3 Copper mines again. It is in no way a bug.

People who aleady had them had to demolish, find Quality Copper Shafts, and start over with upgrades. It is fine as it is.

it works on here also i did it this morning felt gutted tearing down my l5 endless mine to try but was so happy when it worked at min its on way to lv4 and tomorrow will be set back off to lv5 for a week :) so will be like 2 normal copper mines running at once that never needs to be found again plus i only have 1 endless copper mine as yes they cost loads :(
even though was nervous tearing mine down they do say fortune favors the brave or something like that lol

hades8840 - That is correct I have 3 all with fast copper mining on them and they have stayed that way since the new skill was available - they are ace especially when buffed ;-)
