whats the difference between this pirate hut and a pirate residence? this pirate hut looks like some sort of fishing building rather than a building to hold settlers.

You just got them from different things, no real difference, the weird thing about them is they don't change in appearance regardless of their level

Kinda off-topic but who got the building on end of the world event? Nobody on the English side if I recall? kinda useless to keep them in the game if there is no way of getting them

German server 6 I believe (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/21312-The-End-of-the-World-Stat-Board.?p=206048&viewfull=1#post206048). The code is still in game and you can ask for it in the trade office (even though no one has it) so I guess the guide is handy for people to see what it is on here even if the reply they will get is "you can't get one"

Yes they can also be found in the Master Architect Box which is available at the Merchant for 95 gems

This suggests the pirate residence can be upgraded. They can not be upgraded unfortunately

Dangerous little cove there ! Now I need one of the pirate houses on the sea ... maybe they are only decorations on the maps so far ?
