Question about server downtime / maintenance

Can BB staff please clarify a discussion we have been having in the guild about server downtime maintenance and the usage of buffs while the server is down

Usually the server goes down at 00-30 Thursday and is down for around 6 hours ish , so the question is if a basket buff is applied at say 23-30 Wednesday which runs for 9 hours it should last until 08-30 Thursday.

My question is what happens to buffs whilst the server is down do they continue to run somehow or are they lost whilst the server is in shutdown mode

Hey there, the buff will last until the buff expires, so if you apply a solid sandwich at 00:30 it will last until 02:30, so your example of the basket buff is correct

Close, but not right. I suspect this is more the general problem with Specialist timing rather than something due to Maint.
