A. You don't get Easter Eggs from the adventures themselves, you only get them from the Quest Chains or via Explorer Searches

Q. I've finished my Quest Chain, how/when can I get another?
A. Every 6 days a new Quest Chain will be given to you at random from your level section
-2nd Chain - Wednesday 27th March
-3rd Chain - Tuesday 2nd April
-4th Chain - Monday 8th April
This is "as it stands" and may change.
Q. How many Chains will I get in total?
A. You will get 4 so long as you complete previous quests in time.
Q. Which chain should I have, why don't I have chain 1?
A. You will get one chain at random, you wont always start at Chain 1
Q. What if I level up during the event into another Quest Chain zone?
A. Your current chain will stay the same, however the next chain you receive will be for the new level group you're in
Q. I don't think I'm going to finish this before the next one comes along, what will happen?!
A. If you don't complete your chain within 6 days, the next will appear as a waiting quest ready for when you finish your current one, however this will not be the case when the Easter Event finishes
Q. Can I find Easter Eggs on my home island?
A. Only via the Explorer searches, all others are gained in the Quest Chains or via Trade with other players
Q. What are the percentages for the explorer searching for Eggs?

This special general gives you an added bonus, you can assign 250 military units (instead of 200) to him. He can also travel twice as fast to adventure zones and also recovers more quickly from defeats in battle than a normal general.

Can you find eggs on your main island??? if so where and how big/small are they??? are they as small and hidden as the ones in the advents?

if only,you cant really work out odds an a random % of return.the only hunt you get 100% is long and you will get that each time.I have tested this on test serve the % returns mean nothing,would love to know how peopel get these odds when it is luck/random

b) "the mine worker" find 1 new iron ore deposit, have 1 level 3 iron ore mine and select 1 iron ore mine
c) "deeper into the mine" - don't know reqirements yet
d) "not useless after all" - don't know reqirements yet

Why the hell did it start me at chain 4? I'm in the lvl 40+ bracket.
Comon I got 40 eggs and now I somehow have to buy/acquire 760 eggs?!
Thats just lame, at least start at chain 1 so by the time you reach chain 4 its doable to get the remainig eggs but 760 just upfront is way to much.

You see that chest icon on bottom panel for entering shop? Can confirm it work ;) But also agree that unless I was commited to spend all my gems on this year easterns for eggs I would be upset for getting chain #4 at begining of event (with I did).

That one's a little odd, it seems it doesn't always count newly added Eggs either but if you trade your collection to a trusted friend briefly and buy them back it may unstick it. May. The parameters/possible bugginess aren't quite clear yet.
Borrowing from guildmates worked ok for me. Lag, bug? who knows...

Basically you have 6 days to complete an event because the other one will queu up but the 2nd subquest alone will take atleast 10 days when you do the very long treasure hunt with a faster explorer.. THATS already half of the entire Easter Event. And youll only earn 10 eggs for it. Even if you manage to do all the events i gathered from someones post that youd earn 450 eggs.. thatll only get you one or two easter goodies. TSO did a swing-and-a-miss on this one in my opinion, same as with the mayans.. catering to the end-game rich players who get to trade eggs for st00pid prices and pick up their elite goodies. Making the gap between regular players and the elite even bigger.. good job annoying the [ Censored ] out of me!

Well for a start your maths is off. 4 chains at 150 eggs per chain is 600 eggs. It would take 8 days to collect 50 eggs using the extra long search with 3 tavern explorers. Not only will you have 50 eggs at the end, you will also complete the quest and make another 10. Almost all of the other chains can be completed in a day or two with a little forward planning (killing off troops to make room, keeping the provision house queue down, making sure there's a deposit free to be found, etc.). It's not ideal, but it's doable.
But yes, I do agree that the elite are just going to get richer and bigger while those of us who can't throw cash at it will struggle to get what we want from the event.

Because, getting 1500 coins from friend trade don't work, at least for me, and sometimes slider shows one amount of coins and the second time another. Well when you see like 1300gc and then 300gc makes you wonder what did you do to lose 1000gc. And for settlers it should be like this, you kill them in adventure and they produce in mayor house, but for me they are producing with my storage full of settlers. Pay 1500 coins is self explanatory.

3 lots of 150 is 450. That's enough for 5 floating houses. Or an experienced explorer. More than enough for some goodies.

People knew this event was coming and knew what it would entail but have failed to prepare by saving up for explorers or bolstering their resources, and now they're crying about it worse than Four Winds, which at least had the element of surprise going for it.

I'm not Peck Ed, but we all started out somewhere random. I got chain 3. I don't know if it will follow that I will get chain 4 next time.

i myself am in this bracket, fingers crossed ill get it for 2nd chain but knowing my luck i wont :D and according to official event details and i quote
Remove I: 11th of April 2013
After the removal of phase 1, explorers will no longer be able to find Easter Eggs. You will not be able to start new Quest chains either.
which as it stands if your unlucky enough to get this chain on the 8th its very unlikely people will get this chain done as not enough time, unless you have atleast 5-6 savage explorers or 10 normal explorers. Yes you can speed things up with gems which maybe a good marketing ploy but for the non gem buying section of the community its giving the message that you have to ( and i hate to use the phrase ) " Pay to Win ".
So yes the sooner any confirmation on this is learned the better whether it will allow eggs to be found up till the 18th

I've never seen 2 queue before, you'll likely need to finish your current one before the 3rd kicks in
In Chain 3 at the 40-50 level (Easter Bunny's Assistant), the 'More Manipulation' step rewards you with the 'Hunting Eggs' adventure. However, this is then NOT required to be completed to finish the chain. Has someone messed up? I've finished the chain successfully and I'm left with a spare 'Hunting Eggs' adventure, that I presume I won't get anything from (I haven't started it). It's not a problem because the chain still completes, but I wondered what was going on? I'm guessing someone at BB slipped up and it was meant to be completed as part of the chain, but it would be nice to know.

But isnt the ability for explorers to find eggs removed on the 11th (according to main post about easter on these forums). I am in the same boat, I cannot see how I am likely to be able to complete the finding 50 eggs when I am assigned the quest on the 8th and have to find the eggs by the 11th. I have 3 normals and 2 fast, so 25 eggs per 2 days, will take me to the 12th to get the eggs. I have a chance if searches started before the maint on the 11th deliver eggs on the 12th.
A bit of thought into this would have helped, but alas its BB they don't see to think through the quests and the time it can take to complete.

You're right BB doesn't think through their quest developments. The random factors involved in the finding eggs through explorer is just [removed]. Its possible the explorers return nothing and then you're screwed. Very possible to not complete the quest at all.

Why is it unconfirmed? Shouldn't the game developers at least inform their moderators about these matters, so that the moderators can keep us informed? Or are they in some way 'special' and can only 'confer' when it's a full moon and homage has been paid by means of a sacrificial lamb?

My 2 explorers first found eggs on all treasure searches (1-3 eggs/search) so I thought this would be a fast one. But during the last few days: NONE! there's a post somewhere, if you get the find eggs quest after thursday, it will automatically give you the eggs, a script will run at night on all inactive zones that have that particular quest. you will not recieve more eggs but it will show that you have completed the quest,

when is the last day for buying stuff in the shop? i want to save my eggs till the last moment so i can get as many as possible through the explorer before spending them.
The Explorer will stop finding eggs from the 11th.
The items will be removed from the shops as part of maintenance on the 18th

Thursday 11th - Explorers will no longer be able to find eggs, quest chains and waiting quests will remain (should you have the Explorer search quest "The Hint" check this thread (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/23371-Quick-Update-Easter-removal-I-Search-for-eggs-issue-INFO) for the fix)
Friday 12th - No Change
Saturday 13th - No Change

I bought veteran for gems couple months ago and second veteran for eggs today. The Easter section of Merchant says 0x Veteran, but
Black Market section says 1x Veteran and the buy button is not greyed out.
If I buy the 3rd veteran from Black Market for gems, is it going to be removed during tonights maintenance (and I get the gems back)
or I will have 3 Veterans ? :)

You will have 3 vets. I know this because I and lots of others now have three vets. You missed the big Dante post explaining this.

Blimey! That caught me out, sorry kzzyn2017, they updated the amount after I wrote that post, have slammed in a nice big edit at the bottom of it now

I just wanted to say that I had a great time with the easter event. I know a lot of people have not had any fun with it and being rather unsatisfied, and even though all my resources have gone for this event, I got most of what I wanted. I guess it is not BB's fault that the prices for eggs kept being ridicules high.. I know a lot of people did not want to lvl up when they heard about the difficulties, but I did and would not want it any other way.
Thanks for a great Event, can't wait for the next one...
