The challenge is to see who can complete the adventures in the game the fastest. You use the timer that is started when the adventure begins and the challenge ends when the "return home" window pops up. Video proof is required, clearly showing the timer when the adventure is completed.

Interesting to note that Traitors and Outlaws can both be done in 50 minutes. Outlaws has 100 more recruits lost (about 20% more) but has MUCH better loot!

My generals did a witch of the swamp (2 day adventure) with 2 days, 5 hours and 46 minutes left. That means they did it in -5h 46m.
That is speedadventuring taken to completely new dimensions. It's not fast, not finished *in no time*, nope it's much better then that. My generals can finish an adventure with more time on the clock then there is at the start. This is how it happened.
During the easter-event my generals have been doing lots and lots of witchhunts. They heard a rumour the witches had a potion that could turn stone into eggs, which of course would be *very interesting*!
They didn't find such en eggcellent potion, but they did find something else: A Speed Adventuring-spell! It did take them a couple of tries, and there were some incidents and accidents. However I can proudly say my generals can do magic now! It takes them a lot of energy, so they cant do it often, more then once a week is out of the question. But once a week, when the sun isn't watching (magic is a dark art, always happens at night) my generals get together and perform the speedadventurespell. And see what it brings them, finishing an adventure before it has even started!
That is certainly a, um, "unusual" way of winning!
Unusual it is, but the image I posted is real.
It does happen at night, and only once a week. It's not magic though, but maintenance.
The timer for the adventures apparently is not paused, but instead they do add 12 hours or so. I started the witch just before maintenance started. The next morning I defeated the witch (not fast at all) and still there was more time then the initial 2 days.
And during maintenance the barracks keep working and wounded generals do heal. That makes it really easy to speed-adventure once a week.
I think we should all make a gentleman's agreement that we do not use this "loophole" when competing for speed adventuring.

Just had a ls for SE the other day on a SE that only took about 3½ hour. It should be said though he have 3 vets going for him and the entire army was standing ready for action.

the 'Quest Complete' ribbon didn't show up for about a minute, but I took a pic of that too
I just managed to get Traitors done in 50 minutes (see opening post). I got the blocks wrong on this adventure three times when testing it; first time I mistimed it a general got intercepted, 2nd time I sent recruits instead of soldiers by mistake, the block failed and my general got intercepted, leading to all the other blocks fighting through, and the third time I sent general too early, he got intercepted, I pulled back and only sacrificed one blocking force.
It is fair to say I don't like this adventure anymore. And Outlaws is much better.
SFTR in 45 minutes? I might have to try than one as my next project.....
The Norks in 46 mins.
Should be able to shave some off of that now, with the extra vet and enough pop to double up some of the garrisons.

Great thread! Myself, jollyfog2012 and CarlStabler just completed DB in 1 hour 2 mins... hopefully we should get in done in less than an hour soon! ;)

Euro Adventure - Match 2 (Hard Version).
Completed in 46 mins and 2 seconds (including 1 recall as I had a camp slightly wrong).
Quite chuffed, seeing as you have to send the general 11 times, that's 15 mins travel and 21 mins fighting, averaging less than 2 mins per camp. :)

4 advs in 3 hrs 22 mins to just complete the Crisis Quest in time, including a Nords that would have been 38 mins if I hadn't been so tired that I sent recruits as the meat shield on the last camp instead of militia, and killed all my XBs. had to clean up what was left with anything left standing, think I was fighting with woodcutters by then!
working on a victors, 4normal generals, 2 vets and 1 BHG, have to work on it a bit more, dont have the troops transport down jet, but from first attack to finish takes me 1 hour, actually making a whole guide, got about 150 layers in Photoshop...

SFTR in 40 mins with jollyfog2012. This was done before the last update (science system) brought about horrible lag again! We should be able to shave around 4-5 mins off once the servers are running a bit better again!

How about doing "races" adventures?
You use 2 players adv, invite each other (to check the timer), and do the loot kill without delaying the other player.
Winner take 3 loots, loser only 1.
Or better, you use a 3rd player as referee, he call the beginning the adv (and he also call which adv, preventing players from loading their generals befoe the beginning)

Ali Baba Third Thief - 1hour 9mins from starting.
Managed this a few times, but can't beat it.
Note - Does involve buff kill on final stronghold. Can 'finish' 5m earlier, but 1h 9m is FULL clearance.

After making Navigation-3 on four tavern generals (still Jog-3), it's 45 minutes.

No buff kills from me (a looter used Arrows, but it didn't change losses), 4x Tavern gens with Navi-3/Jog-3, all combat gens + a MoD with Navi-2/Jog-3.

MMAs, Anslem, Nusala used for 6 suicides
5 blocks done (triple in the middle MoD and 2 BHGs), double on the right (2 Tavern gens with Navi-3/Jog-3), left side (with skills) - no need for blocks now.

A little off-topic, but it's Evil_J's guide, I just added some extra suiciders (currently using 3x MMAs, 3x Champions - naturally Anslem as last, all with 1MM + (as wave 7), Major 285 MM, for a non-loss attack (after First Aid). Major must have Planner + Charge-3, otherwise you need some extra suiciders, I'm afraid.
