You have the Quest Death to the Leaders however you have already completed it, each time you click Claim Reward nothing happens and it comes back again

2 updates and no bug fix. You know, I don't think I ever did get a reward for it. I think old players have been robbed of old quests.

Yes, same here. Fed up with it. Happens so often I now ignore it and pin the Build menu over the flashing arrow. Surely it's not impossible to fix?

Hopefully this issue will be helped with the update we are getting on Thursday, not having run maintenance for a week might have brought out the best in the bugs as well.

Really Driving me round the bend... any idea when this will be fixed... Spoiling the fun of the game now.
I've had this bug as long as any of you, and it seems like over the past few months, I do not get the pop-up as often as in the beginning. My feeling is that it returns less often if you click 'Claim reward' rather than just closing it. Do you think this is true for you?
Anyway, sending tickets to support won't really help - and the fact that a mod has opened a special topic for this should say enough about the ubiquity and the devs' awareness of the problem (I hope at least!)

I know that it's a free game, and i'm thankfull for that.
But if the developpers have time and are able to make new adventures or design new buildings, why does it take this long to fix a 9+ month old bug?

and after today's maintenance I got the re-appearing "Death to the leaders"! :'(
Hopefully we don't have to wait another 5-6 month to get this bug fixed.

I get this all the time on the Newfoundland" server - how about you guys get your butts in gear and fix this.
I have sendt at least 3 ticket ceoncerning, gueess what - nothing happens, no reply no fooging anything.

This was the response I received as a few months ago and so far no positive response, I am posting a copy of the ticket I sent. The lack of respect for us is pushing the limits, not to say I have not responded more to my ticket. Until when?

I don't have this bug, but my girlfriend does. At first it was the "more damage" bug, but after waiting MONTHS AND MONTHS, the bug was finally fixed, YAY!
...but wait, not yay, now she has the "death to leaders" bug instead, and it's actually WORSE. It pops up even more times than the more damage bug, literally several hundred times per day.
What makes it really bad, is that she constantly loses resources. Almost every time she completes an adventure, returns home and opens the loot email - the bug pops up, and all the loot is lost. If it pops up when setting up a market order, the resources she was listing for sale vanish. It makes the game impossible to play. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaase fix it! How hard can it be?

I'm like a lot of other people, this quest bug started popping up after they fixed the "More Damage" quest.
It was bearable as I only got it during initial login, but over the last few days, its become really annoying, and today is the worst its been.
I close it, complete etc etc, but every minute approx now it keeps popping up, or displaying quest completed next to the avatar. Its got so bad, its making the game un-enjoyable to play, and everything is jerky, the trade office locks up occasionally.
Please BB, sort this out.
I really like this game, but its really getting to the stage, where I'd rather play something else until its sorted

Add me to the list too, I'd rather sit in a locked room with a bees nest nest and an irate grizzly!!!.... everytime glitch appears it makes some of my coppermines produce randomly too, making it impossible to forsee how long my mines will last before i have to renew them, also this does not register on the economy prod rate. The other day 1 of my mines emptied in less than 3hrs...no bull!
You will not receive any further remuneration from me until this is fixed, essentially this is a great game but virtually unplayable atm. 300+ times a day, and thats no hyperbole.

Think it's better for U 2. Cause the game isn't nice to play if you always think: completed quest, but it's that one you can't get out.
I can't find it in the list, I can't do anything about it...

Great news, thanks....although in the case of the longbow maker bug, "soon" turned out to be about 8 months. Hopefully that won't be the case this time?
The bug is really bad this morning, popping up every few seconds. Simply impossible to play.

Getting 'death to the leaders' every 30-40 seconds its doing my head in now, any chance someone can do something about it, it looks from the above posts that its been going on for some time surely it can be fixed. Guys please help us out here BB.. I cannot handle getting the leader quest popup every 50-60 seconds as the refreshing happens.

This bug is really irritating. Pop-ing up every 30 seconds now. And it is going on for a long time. Many maintenance since it started and was first reported.
Now I know why there is no easy way to delete my account - I'd be gone already.
Not 100% certain but I think the fixes currently being tested on the test server will address this issue.
If everyone got the XP when clicking Claim Reward, then this bug would have been fixed within the first 4 days !

It is now over 2 months since I 1st reported being stuck in a quest loop for the kill the bandit leader quest series. I killed him ages ago in fact my island is clear of bandits completely. Quite frankly this game is getting boring in the extreme as I am not able to progress experience wise at all, it is only the baloon quests that keep me going. Quite frankly I expected more of Blue Byte.

Do you know what..... ive come to the conclusion that they dont know how to fix the bug. After DEVS reply on here nearly 1 year ago, you would think it would have been sorted out by now. Im no expert but surely it cant be that difficult to fix!

Maintenance fixes a few things, but no big updates are placed in the code that would fix issues like the one listed, you can find more information in the video below

The quest ends in 5 days, so it will be fixed in 7 days time, which is next maintenance. Great! I can wait that long :)
How many times has it been said, that this issue will be fixed with the next maintenance? I will believe it, when it is fixed. I would also like to know why it has been allowed to go on like this for so long. Not happy, not good enough. If it could be fixed before, why leave it for so long?

Every day there is a problem with the Quest Book.
I have a quest that shows as completed yet it won't give me the rewards (See attachment 1.jpg)
The Quest "Death to the leaders" is still coming up every day even though it is completed, this has been going on for months and months, after all the weekly maintenance issues you would think this would have been fixed by now. (See attachment 2.jpg).
I know we've been told that the developers are aware of this bug but are they actually doing anything about it, it appears not, and for me to spend money on this game it makes it more frustrating that we see the developers creating new features but not fixing the current bugs.
I really think you need to do something proactive with the quest book, everyday there is an issue with this system and after all updates it doesn't improve and the issues have been going on for months, even years for some people.

Looking at (See attachment 1.jpg) I see it is listed in the "Waiting Quest" section of your Quest Book.
"Waiting Quests" cannot be completed, but are waiting till you finish your current Daily Quest (in your case "Traitors").
(The new Daily Guild Quest will also be placed in the "Waiting Quest" section while there is another Daily Guild Quest still active.)

Come on...not so impatient. We are just on page 11 of this thread. Once you start reaching page 100, you might have a chance that someone will have a look at your problem.

Death To The Leader Bug reward keeps repeating every few minutes.
The bug is the fact that this keeps popping up as a completed achievement and then you have to accept the 50 point reward even though it never gets added in to your overall score.
Fix: Once you have accomplished this achievement it should never repeat.
So, no update to fix this bug in the last maintenance? So when will this be fixed?
i got this bug triggered 10 times in 5 minutes. Not only that is very unpleasant but also makes game extremely laggy unless you click "claim reward". then it goes over and over again.

Have had it for some months already.............
Still more maintenance and no fixes... Any updates on if the problem is being fixed on? Give us some bloody hope!
I, too, have this bug.
It resets my island when I am trying to build, and I have to do the decorative items all over.
usually once every 4 to 5 minutes the flashing "Quest complete" will pop up to tell me I have defeated the leader.
At level 38 I defeated that 'leader' a long time ago.
I am going to chime in and 'hope' for a fix soon.
This bug is listed as being fixed in our latest changelog, so we should expect to have this resolved by the 8th
The "Death to the Leaders" quest was not working properly.
