what are waves

what are waves and how do you do them ??? as it states i will need 2 waves to defeat the leader etc ???

"Wave" just means "attack". One General can do many waves, he'll just need to heal in between each one. You can find a guide to the home-Island camps here: Guide-Combat-Guide-&-FAQ (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/15383-Guide-Combat-Guide-amp-FAQ)

Always keep an eye on your General as he goes, if he strays into another camp's red zone and is intercepted you can retreat him and try to find a better spot for the Garrison or otherwise rethink your plan of attack.
