View Full Version : Guild Quest are completely BRAIN DEAD....

Well, we are a rather small guild.. Just above 10 (semi-)active members.. Mostly we got guildquest which need to be finished by six or seven people. Well the six is rather easy to do, as we got six steady members (logging in every day).

Today I realized that the programmers from the guild quest are even more [removed] then I already figured out...
One of our regulars wasn't present, this weekend and a lot of other members decided to show up.. So, we got an guild quest for seven people yesterday.. BUT only six people logged on yesterday...

Yeah right.. We need seven people to finish but ONLY six got that quest.. Did BlueByte REALLY TOTALLY lost all their marbles designing this feature??
Please go back to the drawing back and design something that works, and remove this trash!!!

This was not offensive.
Yesterday evening, we had to remove the current guild quest because we needed seven people to do while only six received this quest.
The next one was for 4 persons. So, I cancelled the one with 6/7 and we activated the new one.

This morning, we had an GuildQuest active with 1/7 done done and a waiting one was a brand new one.

Tell me how this is possible!?! Some how the 1/4 was changed into a new 1/7 one and the next one was the new one.

I have never seen such a MESS in my gaming life, I have no clue where those people who wrote this so called guild quest got their training, but that they are not able to do it properly is clear.

All bugs that we reported LAST YEAR during testing. These should never have been allowed to come live in this state.

Good news is we appear to be getting a whole new bunch of them from Thursday onwards!

I think its BUGS.... cos nobody can even log in to Sandycove since maintenance finished.... thats sure a heap of bugs :)

There are better ways to do guild quests without punishing active players. Just reset them every day rewarding those that completed it. The current system is clearly not helping guilds with active and casual players.

GQ will finish if you boot the member not doing it IIRC. You can just invite them back in after the fact.
