Hi everyone,

Thank you for all your contribution, I try to read feedback at “official BB feedback” but it gives me a headache, so I make this thread with a simple feedback on CRISIS quest/events. However if anyone are more interesting or refer feedback on fallen army at Official BB feedback, this is the link: http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/23981-Feedback-The-Fallen-Army-info

Summary for those who are lazy to read this thread:

About 70% players between level 46 and 50 did not complete the quest according to the poll. Most of the feedback is concern about the cost is too much to do for a little reward. About 30% players between level 46-50 completed it, but they do agree that the reward is not worth it, they did it b/c they’re bored.

A lot more players between level 36 and 45 completed the quest because the cost is reasonable at this level. Also the event was easy to do, some say “not much of the challenge”. About 30% did not do it due to lack of motivation, again reward is too little. Even those who completed weren’t happy with the reward. “rewards were a bit lame” one of the players said.

Not much of information about players between level 26 and 35. The only information we have is 9 votes at the poll.

Once again, thank you
Hope that BB can see this and make the event even better next time.

1. I'm level 49
2. I did not complete it
3. I don't want to build dama weapon smith for 4000 grainte. This is the waste of granite to build this building

Rewards are too low ( had expect some thing better, like an epic/special building)

The rewards could have been so much better, and the time limit of 2 weeks makes no sense, but as I had the damascene weaponsmith from the four winds there were no extra costs with the exception of buying a lootspot for an adventure I don't see any reason to do.

The whole thing could have been done better, like having 10 quests that you could do in any order.

stefanceltare
05.06.13, 17:30
1: 48
2: NO
3: Simple reason... not worth all the waste of resources for a puny reward which the other players in lower level ranges get with less costs... It's a game but it's supposed to be fun. It's not fun for those at 46-50 when you want them to throw their resources for the sake of throwing.

Simple feedback on the fallen any quest

Your answer must include:
1. Your level 50
2. Did you complete it or never do? yes did it all even killed 8k troops on SE for part of it and paid the 10k exo logs ect
3. Reason for something to do at level 50 there is nothing much else to do lol

Because it was fun, something different to do, I would have done pretty much most of it anyway, I got 250 gems for just playing the way I usually would have. Oh it was also way too easy.

3. http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/24165-Crisis-Quest-The-Fallen-Army-Impossible-!

Altogether, no so bad even though I didn't make it.
Most of the sub quests matched nicely with my outstanding main quests, so nice progress made after all.

Just scraped through it, not because I wanted to, but it became a matter of pride after all the obstacles.
Horrendous loss of troops and materials, many due to poor servers rather than mistakes.

Oh was Level 43 at start, now 44.

Rieux1972

2: Didn't start it
3: Resources didn't match reward; Time frame was too easy, so no challenge. Played normally, beat the rewards for a fraction of the cost ( except the gems) Even got a white castle from SFTR, so I got my `special building' ( which the crisis quest didn't offer ) so happy girl here

3 - rewards equalled the tasks.

Just wondering why so many high level players avoided building all the pricy resource buildings along the way? If u got to level 45 and beyond surely you've earned enough gems, granite etc through the levels to afford extra licences. Even if its a waste of a licence by sleeping the building its always available if u need it. Most ppl will have needed these buildings to complete quests in your main questbook so paying 6k granite and then demolishing once u done your quest for a quarter of your resources bk don't make much sense to me ( u really needed that granite back so badly?)

Why are these resources (damas, cannons, xbows) even available in epic loot drops? This is the reason why hardly anyone needs these buildings. Take note bb and address this issue.

As for the actual crisis quests it is a break from the norm, between xmas and easter is a long time between the main events, so these added quests are a great idea.
The 4 winds quest was introduced right b4 easter (with no warning) which gave ppl a hard choice to make, drain resources doing the crisis or keep everything for easter. This latest one was announced a month b4 it started, everyone had time to prepare but unlike 4 winds this reward was not worth the effort for most.
Keep the surprise factor there next time with no warning when the next one will be (that's a crisis!), try and make the rewards a little more appealing to everyone also as the idea of introducing medkits here wasn't a great one. 98% of players will not need these! Surely a new decoration exclusive to those that complete it (that cant be traded) is a must here!

Hope someone at bb will take some notice like they did with the comments from the last crisis. thanx.

Rewards need to be higher for what you are required to do on the individual tasks. Not sure if I will do another one of these unless the rewards are improved. Not a happy bunny.

3 > great concept, keep up the good work BB introducing fresh ideas/items. rewards were a bit lame, rewards such as buildings, MAYBE EVEN some of the wonderful stuff the Germans get exclusively would be nice...as that's discrimination and some would even go as far as to say racialist !

looking forward to the next 1. and science system may keep the wolves at bay for a week or so if BB are lucky. hehehe

Did you ask for help on that? I haven't come across anyone reporting bugs on this quest chain, just people who didn't understand it.

King-Fero
06.06.13, 16:37
1. 50
2. Finished it
3. Costs equaled the rewards, so becoming wealthier through the campaign wasn't a motive. But because the rewards were gems, and I knew I need to try out SE at some point anyway, thought might as well do it now. If I was playing for free, 250 gems would have been an acceptable bonus for me, although the drop from last crisis quest (500 gems + silo + watermill) was a disappointment. Now, 250 gems don't really make a difference. I guess I mostly did it for the challenge. I had the surplus steel, ewl and saltpeter already which would just rot in my warehouse otherwise.

MrBranch

When reading all of this, I'm almost jumping to the conclusion that no player < level 40 finished the crisis quest.
Perhaps someone from the IT team could run statistics to check? Would be interesting info I would say.

Worthless poll by the way; only asking if you did the quest. That info can be retrieved by means of a simply query; just like how many of them finished it.

Thanks to real life rearing it's ugly head I was unable to play for the first week of the quest. However taking the precaution of preparing weeks before we had the details of what the quests would be paid off and the quest chain was completed despite Sotv going south taking the bulk of my troops with it. To all the naysayers out there read this and weep.

2. Said I would not when I first learned of rewards versus outlay
3. Primarily because of inadequate rewards for the material costs of participation... exceptionally because of increased lag...

BB knew beforehand that buffing increased server strain... one buff, one server call, more lag... ooh look, let's run a quest asking every participant to do a huge number of buffs and then wonder why some blocks failed in the nastiest adventures, let's wonder why people needed a hundred buffs and only 60 or 70 counted, let's wonder why the quest actually resulted in long-term players leaving the game for good...

Let's just wonder

3. for my level range the resources and effort needed were acceptable for the reward but I think I'd never have done it if I were in the upper range.

I do think BB did the same mistake as on the previous event: quest too hard for the upper levels without significant reward compared to what is offered to lower levels.

I was fine up to the point where it wanted me to give up 8k marble. I rarely have that much at once and there was no way I was going to pay coin out just to give it away.
Didn't feel the final reward was worth the outlay.
Sorry BB.

pipl
18.06.13, 13:38
I didn't even start it, the quest wanted me to give up something like 5k of titan ore, which would have wiped out my supply, not that I use it .
But if this was it started I sure wasn't interested in doing a quest that other people were saying would require me giving up piles more of resources.
And also the reward for all of that titan ore was piddling.
It struck me that the quest was a black hole to throw my much needed resources into.
So I'm a L49 and I didn't even start.
I simply got on with my game and the trading.
