View Full Version : Incorrect trade calculation: carriages

I recently took a trade buying 40 carriages and the sum total of carriages after the trade was less than it should be...

Before Trade: 5 carriages in stores, carpenter mid cycle
Trade: Bought 40 carriages
After Trade: 35 carriages in stores

Obviously I should have had 45 carriages after the trade, so I presume the math is wrong somewhere, a minus rather than a plus.

Note: The trade appeared in the history correctly, showed purchase of 40 carriages, stores now only show 35 (and the guild quest says 35/40 toward completion). I have tried a refresh and checked the various panels numerous times. I have already sent a support ticket, just adding it here in case other people have found the same problem.

The Carriages aren't being used by the Cannon Forge per chance? If you have a level 1 Cannon Forge that could explain where 5 disappeared to?

My cannon forge is lvl 2 (which would use 10 per cycle if it was running), has been asleep for many weeks/months now though.

Looks like it may have been awake, if my maths is correct.
If you had 5 to start with, and bought 40, then you would expect 45 to be there.
Instead it was 35, 10 less which is the exact number a level 2 Forge would take in 1 cycle.

Either you accidentally enabled it, or it may be showing the same random bug 1 of my e/w mills has shown by waking itself up on rare occasions.

If it had been awake I would have remembered putting it back to sleep afterwards and would have spotted the red ! over it while I had only 5 carriages. I will keep an eye on it anyway.

Support refused to acknowledge a problem because they failed to factor in the buffed carpenter production (2 per 36 mins) within their calculations within the reply. "Database shows you had 5, bought 40 and now (over 3 hours later) have 47... case closed"

Oh well. glad it was only a few items anyway.
