1: if you using maximum upgrade of each level you will miss out the higher level, limit to 31 books for EACH Geologist
2: valuable the book, only use it on Jolly Geologist, to make all the books for one Geologist ~34days (without glue),

Extra note: Give extra 8% of any deposits on top of previous skill

Name: Nature's Gift (0/1)
Effect: Grants a certain chance to refill a random active deposit when geologist comes back.

The gold mining points really depend on the amount of ore you get, but I think this is more worth it than the faster coal mines, they're already pretty fast as is.

Nature's Gift sounds great, but in my experience bigger deposits beat the extra marble/iron, usually I'm online often enough to prevent depletion of all deposits anyway.
Lucky Find might be better than Natural Born Digger, but I'd need more info about it to consider it at the moment. Though with the Jolly geologists you can get new deposits relatively fast already.

I have 10 jolly and 3 normal geologists so i don't care about faster searching time nor discover 2 deposits at once. My focus is on bigger deposits.

As my player level is 44, level 6 and 7 are locked out, Level 6 skills need player level 45 to unlock, level 7 needs player level 50. So at this point in time I can't fully upgrade my geo's.

I got 2 manuscripts so far. When I access the skill tree I see them on the geologist, but not on the jolly geologists. I did do something (I have no idea what) when I was looking at the skill tree. and Upgrade my geologist? Huh? Well, each Geologist has their own separate tree, sounds like you may have applied to one Geologist already?

When this was tree thingie for geos was put forward, I was interested and positive for the addition to whatwe can each do.
I saw quite a lot of negative feedback, which was almost like shooting from the hip at the sight of something new.
But now today as I come to realise what I can get from this I am happy beyond belief.
It does mean making a heck of a lot of books of the 3 different kinds.
But that's good as I had thought on day one of this that after a week or so I'd then have to junk the buildings once the skills were learnt, but no this'll be an ongoing thing methinks.
But today before coming here it dawned on me that each seperate geo can have a different setup of skills and can find resources that help me a lot, and I mean a lottttttt.
How [ cool ] is this new skill tree ? Go and explore that tree and come back and tell me it's [ rubbish ], I dare ya.
Lots I say, and I suspect it'll make a big impact on my game as I work out new ways to get it to suit me.

In the skill tree say minimum use of 30 book but also need to use minimum 5 books of level 6 skill before u can unlock level 7 skill.

To unlock level 7 skill u need to keep minimum books used of each level. (only using 5 books each level)

there is no minimum use of 5 books.
However when the science test is just out i'm sure that there is the MINIMUM 5 books for each level

Hi, are you sure about this? The skill tree only mentions the minimum number of books that are needed in the levels below the level. I can't see any mention of the need to have 5 books at each level

On the current test version it's just x books, it doesn't matter on which level they have been placed. For example if you put all the manuscripts you can in the skill tree, all tome dependent skills are also unlocked. (so the ones in level 4 as well)

I need a confirmation on the "Minimum 5 books used of previous level" requirement. The earliest i can test this is putting 6 books into level 1 and 4 books into level 2 to see if level 3 can be unlocked or not. But i don't want to put 6 books into level 1 so i have to reset and lose 5/10 books.

Given the cost going up by a lot. you might want to consider saving books for general. or max only 1 geo.

NOTICE cost of manuscript going up in gold every 10 books. and notice the cost of tomes using x2 manuscripts and x3manuscripts.

Somehow I feel that the cost of getting those boons is so high that by the time you can afford to get them, you probably don't need them anymore. Just my 2 cents of course.

This would be my Skill.

Here is why: I have 6 Jolly, but because of Increasing costs on Every Book you make, i not gona max out on Skill more then 2 Jollys. So i would have to resend them over and over again, for stuff thats moste valuable. This is why i take Ore collector.

Copper/Marble and Gold Ore are most valuable Resources you can get with this strategy. Iron however is easier to get on normal ways because of 10 Mines you can have if you want.

In Tier 1 i put 12 Skills to save 2 Tomes because there are no really valuable usage on them in Tier2 beside the skills i gona feel with other 9 Tomes.

Coal is a waiste of books. our Current price for Coal are 5.5gc for 1000. so its way easier to buy it on TO, and safe 6 licenses on Coalmines.

10% to Refill means if you send your jolly 10 times you will get it once. to send it 10 times you need 20 Hours. and you should be online every 2 hours to resend. Makes just no sence for me. This skill would be only nice if you have like Army of jollys. So you can refill 1 mine every 2 or 4 Hours.

Also. I believe that refill doesn't mean it goes back to its max capacity when you started. It gives you only like +50 or something added to a random mine.
That's kind of chump change. Plus its too random.

It's better to just go with Natural Born Digger. Safe bet long term.

20 hours to do 10 geo searches. Why are you assuming you have to look for gold to get the chance of a refill. The text says refill a random deposit, from that it's a search for any deposit. 1 jolly sent on copper searches should refill all deposits in under 15.75 hours.

I won't be fully upgrading my geos as I only wanted deeper copper deposits, going to get a head start on the other specialists for when they go live instead

I think system is too slow and i wish we could have more choices...
