Something wrong with the 'Ways to the Gold' side quest perhaps?

"Acquire at least 600 coins".

Currently I'm at 10 coins of out 600, while I've been over 400 as well.
My current coins amount is 115, so it's can't mean "own 115 coins". Clearly it also doesn't mean "earn 600 coins".
So what on earth does it mean?

I don't have that one at the mo' but I do know the later one to "Acquire 200K (no tyop) Coins means "Own 200k Coins" (In Storage, not over time and not in the Star.) Perhaps this is the same and you must have them all at once?

Edit: Sorry, typed out of habit. :/ If you currently own 115 (acquired after the start of the quest) and it's only counting 10 something somewhere is hinky. Try "refreshing/clearing cache and cookies" (the first thing Support say) and perhaps even try a different browser. If that has no effect send in a Ticket. There have been a lot of strange bugs after this last Maintenance, catching them all up is taking some time.

This morning I was above 100. Now I'm back to 0. I own 105.
Sending in a ticket seems a waste of my time; from what I'm reading everywhere, people have to wait months without any action.

Are you using your Coins as well?

Yes, currently I'm at 19 coins. When logging on this morning, the quest counter reports me back at a 0 coins acquired.
You mean "acquire" counts as "have a net increase of 600 coins on top of your former coin amount"? But then I should be at -250 I think.

Try not spending them and let your total increase to 619 from this point, see if that helps

Yes, that's it. What an absolutely dumb description of the quest: "acquire"......right!

Ah, that's it then. I had the same thing with the Follower quest, asking me to "acquire" 100 wheat.

'Acquire' something should start working from the time that the relevant quest is activated - so if you have to 'acquire' 100 wheat, it will be 100 wheat on top of what you already have. Refreshing the browser page or clearing cache sometimes helps if the game is not recognising that you have started to acquire the resource. Don't spend any of the resource until the quest has completed, or the total will go down. I'm not sure if there's much real difference between 'acquire' and 'own', but I have a quest to Own 2000 granite and therefore I am avoiding spending any granite until I have 2000 of it in my storage.

Yes, "own" is correctly translated in this game, since it's really used as own.
As Stecker said, acquire is simply a wrongly translated use of "have a net gain" while the dictionary defines it as "get" (more or less)
