No need to attack camp 8. The zig-zag path to camp 9 takes him safely past this.
Camp 14, never been able to take this on direct without both the right-hand and centre camps getting involved. Safer to take out the right-hand camp 1st as it's a no-loss fight.

with camp 14 it is attack the leader and get interecpted by the camp on the right with no losses as you say.

Just tried it, and the moment the right hand camp goes down, the centre one gets involved.
