Hi to all, i would like to discuss here a problem that i've found analyzing the time coming out from the upgrading of the bookbinder.
As you can see, from the table below, the problem start at level 3 and continues up to 5.

Level Bookbinder ::: % Reduction :: Manuscript :::::: Tome :::::: Codex

Level 1 :::::::::::::: ---------- :::::: 60h :::::::::::: 72h :::::::: 84h

Level 2 :::::::::::::::: 100% :::::::::: 30h :::::::::::: 36h :::::::: 42h

Level 3 ::::::::::::::::: 50% :::::::::: 20h :::::::::::: 24h :::::::: 28h

Level 4 ::::::::::::::::: 33% :::::::::: 15h :::::::::::: 18h :::::::: 21h

Level 5 ::::::::::::::::: 25% :::::::::: 12h :::::::::::: 14h 24min : 16h 48min

There is no problem because there is no time reduction, there is faster production speed, thats a big difference (100% reduction would result 60h->0..).
Lets look at the manuscript production times:
At lvl1 your speed is 1 book in 60 hours, lets say that your 'speed' is 60.
At lvl2 you are 100% faster -> your 'speed' is 120 -> you can make 2 (1*2) books in 60 hours -> 1 book in 30h.
At lvl3 you are 50% faster -> your 'speed' is 180 -> you can make 3 (2*1.5) books in 60 hours -> 1 book in 20h.
At lvl4 you are 33% faster -> your 'speed' is 240 -> you can make 4 (3*1.33) books in 60 hours -> 1 book in 15h.
At lvl5 you are 25% faster -> your 'speed' is 300 -> you can make 5 (4*1.25) books in 60 hours -> 1 book in 12h.

Same goes for the other book types and for the Barracks / Provision House.

Comprende?

I don't see anything wrong.

Sorry guys but, if the first book took 60h (not minutes) in order to be complete and you have a riduction of production time of 100% (or an incrementation of production rate) it will be twice more faster, and we will have 30h. But, another 50% of reduction of time production must turn the 30h in 15h becouse, mathematically, if you do 30-50% you will have 15 and not 20, and so on for the others.. Take a scientific calculator and try.. Correct times, for example for the first book, must be 60h -> 30h -> 15h -> 10h -> 7h 30min or not?

Look again at my answer to your previous post, I edited it a bit.

Did your math teacher cry a lot?

Just read what you said again:
Level 1 60h, reduce by 100% gives 30h
Level 2 30h reduce by 50% gives 15h

Both times you have halved the production time but your percentages are different. Your maths are incorrect, what Benedicter said is correct.
