I clicked on this to open it and it greyed out but did not open. I then refreshed the game to see if I could do anything and it has now disappeared completely and I can't get it back.

This means I can't complete this adventure so will it also mean I can't move on to the next one? Don't want to cancel it from my list incase it does mean that.

Nope I've finished the Shaman adventure

I think it only means you lose 100 balloons then. It's a daily quest, so there's no follow-up quest. Tomorrow you get another one.

Did you scroll all the way down in your quest book to see if it is listed as an active adventure?
Sometimes it happens that the adventure does get started but isn't tracked, so it is only visible in your questbook and not where you normally see it.

Yep tried looking everywhere and can't get it to open up. Never mind if it's only a daily and does have a knock on effect it's just annoying not vital.

Hmm, then it might be because it is an event adventure, and the first phase is completed.

Hero Wanted - maybe : if you double click to fast, it seems to cancel the adventure and then you can't find it again ? At least that seemed to happen to me today ...
