Connection to server failed

What's going on today? I'm getting kicked out of the game with message "Connection to server failed" and if that wasn't enough connection to chat server disappearse as well. I've tried the usual tricks but nothing helps. Anybody else is experiencing this problem?

Getting connection to server lost,client outdated,server call failed and try reset browser cache all day long. Just giving up. All in browser reset, restart comp, have no issues on other sites, including (anno) .

Which browser do you use? I have same problem when using Opera, tried on 2 different machines and OS, same results. In IE works fine (for IE). Tried updating flash player, didn't help.

I am geting a lot of Server Call Failed messages today and it logs me out of game.

Same here, I'm using Chrome browser version 27.0.1453.116 m.
I've tried clearing my browser cache, but that doesn't help at all. I'm lucky if I get more than 10 min before disconnect.

Now i found a problem in IE, "Play Now" button doesn't work. I skip that by writing play in address bar, but that is not real solution.

Are you all playing The Shaman? There's an ugly bug in the adventure kicking you out all the time.
As soon as you finished the adventure, the problem is gone.

I have been having this problem everyday for the last 3 weeks up to y/day I could get online but just following the loop play now then get client outdated click ok to refresh, so refresh go back to log in screen click play now and so on. After 5 or 6 times generally i loads (I add that I don't refresh my browser or clear cachein between!) I am using google chrome in incognito mode (so it doesn't save a cache!). Yesterday went to get a drink (2 mins) got back and had the game screen up with click OK to refresh client, since then can't get on (I am lvl 32, just cleared last bandit camp and also was on day 7 today of log ins, if i can't get on in the next hour I will lose my gems for today and have to start again!) I am afraid this is unacceptable and will leave the game (T'his may seem petty but I have had this problem before (just before the event started I couldn't access my world for 5 days!!! Sent 2 mails to support and on forum, with no response from anybody)) This time I have lost too much and as I can't trust I can access when I want I will leave now before I invest more time and money in a game I can't log into. ( I have tried at work and sometimes have to log in but no more than twice round the loop (again on chrome) But have tried on FF', same result, did try IE but it wouldn't load the flashplayer!

What kind of spec machine are you using? How are you connecting to the internet? Do you get a similar issue if you use other machines?

I'm having a similar problem to MantaMan. I cannot log into the game at all. I keep getting the following message: "The client was unable to load a data file. Delete your browser cache and try again". I complied with the message, however it did not work.

I am using a Chromebook. The version of ChromeOS is 29.0.1547.23 beta. I initially thought the problem was caused by the update from version 28 to 29, which installed this morning, however I've tried to log in on another computer with the same result.

I tried to log in using incognito without success. I also cleared the Google Sync and powerwashed it.

Like MantaMan, I was close to completing the Shaman adventure. I only needed to destroy the leader's camp and I have prepared my two generals to do so. I now have less then one day left to complete the adventure.

Please advise on what action I should take. Thanks.

EDIT: As soon as the adventure expired, I was able to log into the game again. Frustrated as I was so close to completing it. I think I'll just leave Settlers for a while.
