Valliant Little Tailor Quest.

Hello Folks,

Last week we got the Epic adventures, together with a a new questchain.
First you had to have a certain pop limit, and/or a certain amount of recruits (1500 I believe).

Then you get the quest to do the VLT adventure.
All still normal up to here....

But then I noticed something strange in helpchat.... As soon as people came ask about this adv. other players told them they should have the adv in star menu. I looked...but nothing...no VLT adventure at least.....
So I started asking around at high level friends iff they did get a free VLT, and yes they all got one in star menu after receiving the quest to do VLT.

So I mailed to support.....and there it goes wrong, according to them no one got a free VLT.
But all my fellow players say they did get it.....

So I replied to support again telling them that they where wrong, that other players did get a free VLT together with the quest.
There reaction was:

[edited] Their reaction was that no one got a free copy of the adv, as part of the questchain.
Onliest way to get the adv, according to them is by buying it, get the explorer finding one or rewarded in the end of a fairy tale adventure.

So now the question is....Is Support right (and are all other players wrong?)
Or should I have gotten it and didnt I because of a bug ???

So please reply to this thread telling if you got the VLT adv. together with the quest or not.....

I got one in my star menu to do it from quest chain. as did many if not all members in ours guild who the new content applies to.
to me it seems you should have got 1 but they haven't done it for some reason as no way can majority of the server get the adventure as to do it for part of the quest chain, and them refuse you to have one when it should be there.
i would keep on at support as you should get it.




QUEST CHAIN
A new quest chain, "The New Challenge", introduces the epic content. It is made of 7 subquests and is available at level 42 (?).
Reward for completing full chain: 500 gems, The Valiant Little Tailor adventure

1. Epic Preparations
Have an army of 3000 or more units
Own 1500 Recruits
Own 200 Crossbowmen
Own 200 Elite Soldier

Reward: 1000 exp, 500 exotic wood logs

2. The Valiant Little Tailor
Complete the adventure "The Valiant Little Tailor".

Reward: 1000 exp, 500 granite

3. Fairytale Adventures
Complete two fairytale adventures.

Reward: 1000 exp, 500 granite

4. Gathering Magic Beans
Find 1000 Magic Beans by completing Fairy Tale Adventures

Reward: 1000 exp, 500 titanium ore

5. More Beans
Acquire 2k beans (can be completed through trading)

Reward: 1000 exp, 500 granite

6. The Fairytale Castle
Own the Fairytale Castle

Reward: 1000 exp, 500 exotic wood logs

7. Magic Beanstalk
Upgrade Fairytale castle to level 5
Produce 50 Magic Beanstalks
Have at least production value of at least 360 Magic Beanstalks ever 12 hours

Reward: ?

I too received the adventure and was able to commence it once the sufficient army (Quest 1) was completed

I either received one in my star menu or was given one as a reward for completing the 1st part of epic preparations, not quite sure as it was 6 am :) Either way I certainly never had to pay for one!

I received my copy of the adventure VLT too, what is it that you did not get yours DutchDuty?
I've known you for some time now, and things like this always seem to happen to you somehow.

I think BB is in serious error this time, and they should get to fixing this soon.
They should be able to see you did not get one?

yep i got one also, when finishing epic preparations quest, it was one of the rewards for that quest...so did all in our guild. so i dnt see the reason why you didnt get one.. seems BB didnt want us to get it that way and intended that we use MF for getting one, but in that case they failed again and again messed something up... so i think if thats the case they should give you one also, anything else simply isnt fair..hope theyll realise their mistake and give you and all others that didnt get one, as we did, one copy so they keep fairness and integrity of this game..

When you solve the valiant tailor quest you get exp points. Shouldnt you get star coins if you are level 50?

No, quest experience is not converted to star coins

it seems the xp in these are converted to extra beans at the end of the loot as no xp or star coins otherwise

That's when you complete the ADVENTURE. Unless the poster made a mistake, this is about the 1000exp you get for the quest: for which you get neither star coins nor beans at level 50

yeah i noticed that you don't get xp from quest chains that way turned into star coins from them unless it does it and you don't know :(
just thought it was yet another bug
