Hullo all

Just wondering given todays property prices etc if anyone else feels that 1k gold coins upgrade from lvl 3 to 4 is a little steep in price for the miserly reward of 10 settler spaces.. does anyone know how to organise a petition to get devs to drop it down to something more reasonable..?

Not much chance of any change, if they did I would want a large refund of coins

+1

It's an end game upgrade and not for everyone

A second option for upgrade costs would help too, titanium and saltpeter have little other use for example

I have 212 Noble Deeds and not 1 of them is above level 3, plan too swap them all for Frozen Manors (now nords2 is on test) and Magnificent Residences. So paying 1000gc for 10 additional settlers is not worth it imho.

Ok 1 simple question, who's property's prices ?

It's not so much the property prices as trying to get the mortgage to upgrade them.

I see lots of lvl 50 players who have all their nobles at lvl 3.

If you want to see lvl 5 nobles, go on the test server.

I agree with the fact they are an overpriced upgrade which is why even though I've been level 50 for nearly a year, I still haven't bothered. I knew BB would bring something else out and they have, magnificent residences. Each will replace ten level 3 nobles..

Rather than bring the price down I think it would be nice if you got 20 on each of the last levels, but I can't see anything like that happening.

This would do for me also.

I can imagine eventually upgrading Nobles to 5, certainly a long term I-have-no-space-left plan though.
Magnificent Residences don't fit everywhere, and are quite expensive, while the Frozen manor itself will also I'm sure be quite pricey. I would think 1k here will pale in comparison.

You could try asking in the Suggestions part of the forum rather than the General Discussion area. I would think that our Community Manager is more likely to read Suggestions rather than trawling through general threads.

It is nice to know that people don't really bother with upgrading nobles above level 3 - I have been looking at mine a lot and thinking that 1k gold coins is a bit steep....

I think the OP's right. The fact that nobody goes for the lvl 4 upgrade is evidence that it is overpriced.

Woohoo! 100 posts. ::gem::

I have lots of upgraded nobles to lvl 4 and 5, this is an upgrade for later in the game. But they are one of the last buildings that i have upgraded.
My 5 floating residencies are at lvl 5 aswell.

As has been mentioned earlier. Expensive yes but isn't that the point. L5 upgrades aren't for everyone and are pretty much an end game position when you are getting granite / coins from the bigger adventures and have upgraded everything else.
At Level 50 all mine are L5 as are many of my friends and it certainly helps with the increased population count meaning you don't have to micro manage which troops to make and which adventures to undertake.
I say keep them that way or be prepared to refund a huge amount of resources to lots of players that have already invested in the L4 /L5 upgrades.
