Those filthy dogs kepp killing my men. Any idea how to kll them

The answer to that is almost always "Just hurl recruits at them until the dogs are dead".
Barring a few examples, if there are dogs, you do not want to send your fragile units like cavalry or archers. It's recruits/militia/soldiers all the way.

Thanks, I did that an killed a few, sent out another attack but the filthy dogs (& all other i killed) had just gone back to their original amount. Very frustrating.

That shouldn't happen. Dead units stay dead.
Are you sure you're attacking the same camp? Not perhaps getting intercepted by a different one?

Not according to the replay. I thought it was strange. They're the camps just before the big boss. I'm gonna have to get some more men together and see if your right. Thanks for you help.

cavalry kill dogs

Cavalry also die versus dogs and are more expensive to replace than recruits.

For dogs alone just use recruits
For dogs with other bandits (e.g. a bandit leader or boss) you may need cavalry as they attack the dogs before the boss.

Telling us the exact troops left in the bandit camp would probably yield a more constructive response.

If recruits are too weak use stronger troops ;)

Militia and especially soldiers last a lot longer.
