How to place a Gold Tower.

First I surrounded the Gold Tower with rose beds packed as tightly as I could in order to get an idea of its footprint.

Then I moved it and stuck blue flowers in the space for contrast to the roses. Unfortunately it is not a regular shape...

This is how it compares to a Watermill.... Good luck with finding a space to put it in....

Here's 2 spots it would fit nice over towards the right of S3.

Here's a perfect sized spot below where the iron mines are in S4

Here's a spot below the Iron mines in S5.

They're potentially a little far away from most people's storehouses, but with a production time of 12 minutes, a little extra travel isn't going to make a massive difference.

Edit: To elaborate on it not making a massive difference, since it takes 12 minutes for general production, there's only limited amount of cycles it can do in a day anyway. Why, even if there was 0 travel time (impossible), you're getting 120 cycles in a day (120 coins, unbuffed).
Now, if the walk time was, 24 seconds (haven't checked that you can get it this close, probably can't), you would get 116 cycles.
If the walk time was 1 minute 24 seconds for comparison, you would get 107 cycles.

I can't imagine 9 cycles throughout 24 hours to be worth giving up a more valuable chunk of island than the slightly more out of the way spots I've suggested above.

Unfortunatelly they change it from test server. :(
Now it is a clear 3x3 square.

Good - that makes it easier to fit somewhere. It's a bit awkward to estimate the size and shape on the test server - a regular shape is much better. :D

No, it still has that 3x3-1 shape. Still looking for a good spot for it, with a storehouse to the right of it and preferably room for a fairy castle on the other side.

Too bad you can't turn it....you get a Gold Tower during the Christmas event and can buy a maximum of 3 more, if you could turn them, it would be logical to place a storehouse in the middle and the 4 gold towers around it.

Whats best place to put these?

And there has to room for storehouse next on it.

Some example places to put it are already listed above.
This little reason to worry about trying to get a storehouse *right* next to it. It has a production time of 12 minutes. A few extra seconds of travel time will not make any significant difference, and anywhere truly worth putting a storehouse probably has valuable land around it you should be fitting other things.

I placed mine here, in sector 8 up between the stone quarries.
