placements not sticking

when placing a mine to be built, or moving a building or ornament around, the initial foundation square shows, then disappears, as though nothing was ever done, requiring me to redo, same when fine tuning a placed statue or other ornament, it re-sits back where it originally was. Is anyone else having this problem. This is just another of many problems I am encountering at the moment, and hearing the words, "refresh" is very tiresome.:confused:

Lots of new players + lots of people trying out premium = lots of lag

Game can't handle it

"lag" should be the first word you heard, and no less tiresome :)

I'm level 48, and this has been happening before premiums came out.

You could try sending a ticket to support to see if it's a bug on your island, but if it's caused by lag, they won't really be able to help.

Ornaments can visually revert to their unadjusted positions, but they do remember where they should be.

Zoom out / zoom in redraws them in their properly adjusted positions.

I have been trying to build the blue flower beds. they will get to 13 - 33% then disappear back into my star menu.
it is extremely frustrating.
has anyone else had this issue???
It is happening when I have stuff in my build queue, as well as when the build queue is empty.

Lots of people have had trouble with Star/gem buildings starting to build then disappearing back to the Star. Sometimes clearing cache and cookies and a number of refreshes sorts it or refreshing just after placing, or you can try placing the building and visiting another Island. It's strange but things will sometimes build when no-one is watching them. Other times just waiting and trying again later is the best bet.

Do go carefully and slowly when placing Star buildings, they have been known to cause (for some reason) Cannot login "Server zone crashed" (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/25202-OPEN-Cannot-login-quot-Server-zone-crashed-quot).

I just tried building blue flowers 7 times. Twice with an active build queue, 5 times without. Build progress never got beyond 40% before the builder just quit.

(Red flowers (rose bed) & a lettuce patch built OK no problem.)
