News tab when away

I really do not know if this ever been asked and if it did i could not find it.
Things happen when you are away. I would like to know what exactly. Can we have some log on what happens during my absence? Might come in handy

It will look something like this

14:02 - Marble deposit depleted
14:55 - Iron mine depleted
15:22 - Wheat field exhausted
15:33 - Marble deposit depleted
15:37 - Your buff has been added to storage
15:49 - Stone deposit depleted
16:03 - Stone deposit depleted
16:20 - Your buff has been added to storage
16:33 - Copper mine depleted

If I am honest that is something I will already know when I return so dont really need a log to tell me it just takes up more server space and dev time which could be spent better elsewhere.

Seeing the log file i can send the geo's on what's depleted without having to search my island

has already been announced, just waiting on the devs to show the results of their labours on this issue.

I thought this was coming in some sort of revamp of the mail system, so that we get messages related to searches, buffs, deposits depleting etc.

I was going to suggest this but I notice the suggestion has already been made. It's frustrating to return from an adventure and not know what happened on the home island. If adding an 'adventure' tab isn't practical, how about messages?
Apparently this is supposed to be in the works - we shall see...

Seems very odd that this was announced in 2012 and yet there is still no news. Could we please get an update. :(
