NightEye

Collection of all the tailor adventures for at least dual vet users.

Please be aware that enemy characteristics have changed since these guides were made, and therefore they are no longer suitable.

mayor setup included
Blocks used, all send right after each other, exceptions are listed with a clear delay warning rest have no waiting in between. just keep an eye on the 1r blocks. tried to use as little of those as possible.

dark-red, top garrison listed is for vet.
row under that in grey is for major, if not listed listed major doesn't help reduce losses.

enjoy them, and if losses aren't listed or count is off please let me know your accurate count.
same goes for blocks that fail. if to many fail I remove/change them (other then user error).

Cool, exactly what I was looking for.

3 days, 248 views only 1 reply. I like it must mean all is working perfectly :))

ok someone mentioned a 280 troop garrison setting for a setting in clever (will look at it next run)

as for color theme the blue ones are block settings usually done with normal gens.
ones you see an a), or other letter it's part of one attack.

and in sons right 1/3 I'm sending them all directly + killing 1 more camp then needed by doing so. saver time window that way, personal preference.

and yep couldn't always get around the to many vet suicides. You might be able to change some into fast gens just make sure the rounds stay thesame if it's part of a block. (check per wave, using max kills on wave 1).

right betrayed s1 block fixed, apologies to anyone who had his block won to fast or lost to soon.

plz let me know as soon as possible if that happens anywhere. (in this case I made a human error. simulated for cannons assumed xbows). either let me know ingame, post here or pm me if your shy. I took betrayed map down as soon as I saw it was a flaw on my part.

working now. just be sure to read top settings for vet bottum for mayor.

tyvm for these Nighteye:)

Did SLT - had no problems. My 1st block in HLT failed:( it was laggy at the time, though.

About to do BLT - will let you know how it goes:)

Excellent guide, just done sons. Every block worked a treat.

Great work, Thank you.

ok heroic redone, no changes just prettier (can read vet/major settings faster). notices s3 block 160e 40xb is only 120sec long, can get longer but more then long enough

oh and blue: must have been a pre-forum version of heroic s1. think I didn't add the 1 recruit block into it till my 2nd run

Thanks NightEye, all blocks and such worked great on Clever Little Tailor - just a small typo in S7 on the leader camp, should be 72 cannons instead of 78 cannons i believe.

thanks liam, adjusted. also listed losses for sons & clever now. cleaned those 2 up also. decided to stick to sector by sector for those 2.

Went 2x HLT, everything worked great.
Now started CLT.

It would be slightly more nifty if you'd make 2 versions - one for (dual) veterans, and one for major+veteran... instead of having it together on one paper. We either have one or another setup, so having it both on one pic gives us unnecessary text there. But that's jist tiny cosmetic thingie.

EDIT: CLT worked great as well. Good blocks.

thought about it, I have 2 reasons against it. 1: more work for me. 2: when you get a major you might not want to wait on the long travel things so can use a vet setting for a tiny amount of recruits.

and think it isn't to hard to choose not to read the grey text.

ps. noticed betrayed last block needs a dual vet setting. I forgot to look last 2 runs sorry, for now just use recruits + sim to kill both camps

I am just on Betrayed. Done the first block. Man, that is something, you are a genius to design this crazy multiblock.

EDIT: What I don't understand is the block in sector 5 - on the tavern. My blocking gen C an B get's intercepted by camp D (I don't block A, since I don't have 2 vets). Blocking gen D walks just together with C and B, so there is no way he can make it into enemy camp D in time to prevent that. Am I missing something? There is no note in the guide about doing something special there.

NightEye
07.10.13, 21:25
b c d all 3 are suppose to get intercepted by the dog camp. all 3 enter the Que. placed d 1 flag closer then the other 2 should work when sending them all as soon as possible, I don't believe in this wait till battle sound thing.

assuming you meant s4 on the tavern.

sounds like a failure due to lag or being slow. d should be 1 flag after a. 2 generals to be send b4 it. and have a window of 5 flags to get cought by the intercept. should be enough time

NightEye

ooh right seraph: use dual vet option next time. I'm using the camp a to guide the other 3 generals. replaced the 249r vet with 199r 1k tavern gen. (changed positions also) should still use 2 vets or 1vet 1 mayor on the tavern itself though.

this all is my solution to not have to 1r block that southern camp first b4 round blocking it. for trip vet no extra cost for dual just a few more recruits but saves a gen

edit:
just noticed I list the explanation on the block last copy to convert to major settings. adding it again now

NightEye
07.10.13, 22:01
hmmzz if anyone feels like thinking up a dual vet solution for the last block let me know. I keep forgetting (even if it's a kill all using recruits instead of bows)

edit: on betrayed

Great work Nighteye. Haven't seen more efficient guides around :)

I am doing Valiant little tailor, and in first sector, the 3rd camp you attack
130boar and 30 wolves, you say 142R 1ES and 127Cannons, when the MG returned he had only 126Cannons, so he lost 1 ES and a cannon, I ran it in simulator, and you can lose all the way upto 30 cannons on this attack.

And I just now realize there are 2 waves on that camp, maybe it could be done more clear so even morons like me notice it :P

Doing Heroic little tailor, guide tells me to bring 220XB, but in s5 there is an attack where I need 241XB. MG guide!
Not a big problem, but now I have to wait for generals to transfer back and forth getting the extra XB

NightEye
02.12.13, 00:04
hmmzz so it does..... maybe the 21 spare ones could be replaced with bowmen or elites? not sure

First i must say that i love your guides, these are the ones that i usually use. When images dissapeared i was really sad because of it. Now i'm happy again when they are back (making copy of them on my HDD now :P).

Will you maybe update these guides with MoMA general configurations also ? That would really make my day.

I made a brand new one for HLT. Other Tailor guides will follow in the same style.

+1

It's my favorite guide for FT adv, can we sticky it ? Any chance you update them with the MMA, even though I'm not sure MMA will bring much to those adv.

many attacks are failing, any chance of updating. also as already requested, MMA set ups could also be an advantage.
