You have to love it.

I still haven't had a look at that quest chain involving that free premium day until now when I was able to acquire 3 The Nords adventures. So I trained the troops and gave it a try yesterday. The premium just expired, but what a thrill: Within the same day I played 3x The Nords, 1x Roaring Bull, 1x Isle of the Pirates and 1x Old Friends. I swapped the roaring bull spots within guild for 1x Black Knights and 1x Roaring Bull - That's 8 adventures within 24 hours.

Especially the expiry was thrilling - will I get this adventure done in time or not? In the end I was only 5 minutes away from expiry when I finished that Old Friends adventure. The only offside I felt was that I had to build something to see the exact time left.

I got lucky, too, the loots were consistently high value:

And now - I earned 150.000 XP, tons of granite and steel swords. Thanks so much for that experience, I had great fun.

Yeah, all good fun.

Unfortunately BB, with their typical revenue based wisdom, have now decided to stop premium tokens from being traded, so that enjoyment will soon be only available to payer-players while non premiums just get penalized on hiked lootspot prices.

Seems this game is heading very fast toward pay2win (which BB said they were trying to avoid in the foreword of that questionnaire)

Yeah BB should demand their staff should all work for free and do away with this 'revenue based' nonsense

You can check how much premium time left in the bonus slot of the building queue

Yeah, that's what I did, I built wells to get to see the bonus slot, but it's kind of silly thing to do.

Yeah BB should demand their staff should all work for free and do away with this 'revenue based' nonsense

So you think the only way BB can pay their staff is by widening the divide between free-to-play and payer-players?

I used the phrase 'revenue based wisdom' as their choice of simply removing premium trading (the cheap option) rather than addressing the underlying balancing and technical issues (the more costly option as it needs more developer time) is a 'revenue based' decision.

Tripi, please bear in mind that the trading of these (like other stuff before them) has caused quite an imbalance.
This is not just a 'trading game' , where those with gcs to burn can buy whatever they like, there is so much more to it.

So, how has the 'trading' of premium tokens caused an imbalance?

I can understand the 'benefits of premium' causing imbalances, hiked lootspot prices making them uneconomical for non-premium players and a flood of extra resources from loot bonuses (especially while many were trying their freebie 1 day tokens).

Trading premium tokens, a gem buyer making some gc/beans/granite or whatever from selling them, surely causes no imbalance?
If it does, I'm sure BB would remove pumpkins for gems to stop gem-buyers from taking those offers and making some gc selling the pumpkins in trade.

If there is a problem, the problem is simply the use of premium and not the trading of premium.
