As I'm on the VLT adventure, I decided to rename the ordinary generals to Gen A, Gen B and Gen C.
While B and C willingly accepted their new name, Gen A is a bit more reluctant.
When editing the name to Gen A, and clicking the green tick, it accepts the name just fine, but waiting a few seconds before closing the window reveals that he refuses the new name, and puts his old name back up again!!!

Now, I know Gen A isn't original (compared to Archibald), but I'M THE BOSS, and he better change his name soon! :mad:

Well alright, I'l give him the rest of the day off, to go home and try to settle this, but if he's not back on the battlefield with his new name tomorrow, ALL HECK will break loose!

No no no no NO!!! He refuses completely! Even tho I dragged him home, and even let him pitch his tent right next to my precious level 5 Mayor's House, he STILL refuses to change his name! I can not accept this insubordination no longer!

BB!!! What do you suggest I do with him now? A certain whip comes to mind here!

There were problems loading the game during the time frame you tried to rename your general. Maybe there was additional lag too, that prevented you from renaming the general. I would suggest to try again when you get back online. If it still doesn't work, please send a ticket to Support. I can rename him to Gen 1, but still not Gen A, he still refuses and takes the previous accepted name back.
