 Ok since last maintenance 26/09/13 other than the first 24 hrs afterwards, I have had nothing but problems with this game. Loot not going straight into the star menu, generals not loading, generals not leaving home island to go to an adv even after clicking on the correct button to do so 3 times, trades from other people even after accepting especially noble houses etc dont go in the star menu for ages. Also buildings in star menu grey out without having activating them.
Just wondering if anyone else has been having these problems as they are driving me nuts!!!
Have you updated your flash player recently? To me, it sounds like a lag-related problem.
Clear your browser cache too. I was having problems today with some buildings not loading and I did that and it worked. Never had problems before though.

All of my programs, drivers and OS updates are completely up to date. In fact I check these things on a weekly basis. Its rather strange that you say its a "lag problem" PSYKODK as this is the first time that I have had this many problems all at once. It is also strange that it didnt happen until 24hrs after the maintenance...I have learned to expect a few probs directly after maintenance for 24 to 48 hrs then they normally sort themselves out and its fine. Just doesnt make any sense is all.

I clear my browser cache and flash player cache on a daily basis bakum...None of what i have done works...there just doesnt seem to be a solution to this.
Do you have other flash games open in the browser you use to play the settlers online. (Maybe an island on tsotesting even)
If so, try to use your browser solely for the settlers online and see if that helps.

Fexno, whether i do have the testing site open or not doesnt appear to make any difference, The problems are still there, even without any other programs open at all.
Can you try another browser and see if that helps?
If you normally use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, try using Google Chrome or vice versa.
Not sure how experienced you are in clearing your cache but just to be sure....
Note that Internet Explorer by default doesn't clear cache for pages in your favorites.
Chrome by default only clears the cache for the last hour.
Both browsers remember what you did last time.

I use firefox because out of all the browsers i have used including google chrome its the most stable and proved itself so to me many times. This is the first time that I have experience this many problems all at once. I have tried IE and Chrome with this game but dont like the way they operate, and have no faith in IE for many years.
As for chrome, i dont like the interface and killste's guide doesnt work in it, amongst other things. Browser are a personal choice and I do understand that, but believe me I have tried more than just the three mentioned.
Well the only other thing I can suggest is to contact Support on this. Don't forget to tell them what you tried to solve the issue, otherwise they'll just be asking the same question again.

Thanks Fexno, I am grateful for your suggestions. To be honest my patience is wearing very thin after 4 1/2 days of these problems and none of the usual remedies help. I hope you understand why.
