[Dev Diary] Collectible Items II (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/27708-Dev-Diary-Collectible-Items-II)
The Collections System offers the chance to build buffs using resources found on Home Islands and Adventures. Most Collectibles are scattered randomly around your Home Island a few times a day in areas you have explored and can be hunted like items in Where's Wally, some can also be found on Adventures. Even if you only ever collect the items you happen to find as you go about other things they'll add up quickly.

The Collectibles appear on the Island at level 16, then the Collections tab is added to the Mayor and there is a Quest Chain to introduce them:
• Quest Chain, Adventure Info, and "Collect All" (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/25789-Guide-Collection-System-and-Collectibles?p=240189&viewfull=1#post240189)

Herbs, Scarecrows, Food Carts, Banners, Kettles, Barrels, Grain Sacks and Leather can be found only "at home" while Adamantium Ore and Bronze Cauldrons are found only Adventures.
Friends can visit your Island to help search and can click the Collectibles, marking them and making them easier for you to find. On Adventures any player can click and collect Adamantium Ore and Bronze Cauldrons but only players who have already joined a multiple-player Adventure when the items are collected will get them.
When enough Collectibles have been found or bought in Trade (there is, of course, also a 'Complete instantly for gems' option) buffs can be made in the Mayor's House and like many other things there are level requirements to build them. Collections buffs can be Traded and most can be used on friends with the usual benefits. The Barracks' and Mayor's buffs can be used only on your Home Island.

"Complete Instantly for gems" works a little differently on Collections buffs than it does on most things, you do not need to own all the resources to make a buff using gems but the more resources you do own the cheaper the buff is to complete. Keep in mind even if you do use gems the game will still take any resources available for the buff though again the cost in gems will be less than making one when you have none of the items needed.
•Trade•
Collectibles are kept in the "Miscellaneous" section in the Trade Office and like other items in the Trade Office Collectibles and the completed buffs there do not have level restrictions.
http://thesettlersonlinewiki.com/uploads/706570189CollectiblesInTO.JPG
Anyone with a Trade Office can trade Collectibles but since the storage tab does not appear in the Mayor until level 16 any that are acquired earlier will be visible only in the Trade Office 'Selling' tab when choosing 'Offer or 'Cost'.
•Buffs to Reveal Collectibles•
Should you wish to find every last Collectible and some just won't be found there are Reveal buffs available for gems in the Merchant. The Reveal buffs can also be traded in the Trade Office. Keep in mind it's wise to take a moment and make sure the costs are worth the rewards.

•Quest Chain and Adventure Info•
Main Quest: The Collector's Path (level 16)
Tasks:
• Collections Collection
(level 16)
"To check your available collections open the Collection's tab in the Mayor's House. They will become available progressively as your level increases."
• Open the "Collections" tab.
"You've found it! Amazing!!"
The Mayor has a new tab, "Military" has gone and "Collections" has arrived. When clicked on the map the Collectibles go straight to the Mayor. "Collections" can only be found by clicking the Mayor, using the hotkey "h", or clicking the Resource portion of the top bar on-screen. Storehouses, regular and Improved, do not have the tab. Military info can still be found by mousing over the small Settler head in the top bar on-screen.
Reward: 1 Scarecrow - 1 Herbs
http://thesettlersonlinewiki.com/uploads/1708139357CollectionsTab2.JPG
The number you own of a certain item and the cost to make a specific buff are shown as: owned/cost
The different background colours on the items in the Mayor indicate rarity, Brown is common, Green is less common, and Blue is rare.
•••
• Collecting On-Map Items
(Quest completed "The Collections Collection")
"Collecting the items on the map is no easy task! It will require your full attention as they are very easy to miss. For starters, gather 6 [sic] Scarecrows and 12 Herbs. If you don't see them all on the map immediately don't worry - they re-appear a few times a day."
• Own at least 10 Scarecrows. (The quest text is incorrect, you do need 10.)
• Own at least 12 Herbs.
"How fortuitous!"
Each icon you find and click randomly gives 1 or a few of the item.
Old Collectibles disappear from Home Islands every 8 to 10 hours when a new set arrives, the timing can vary with each reset and from player to player.
Reward: 30 ::coins::
•••
• Complete a Collection
(Quest completed Collecting On-Map Items")
"Complete the "Country Saying" collection by gathering all the required ingredients! Why are you still reading this? Get going!"
• Produce at least one "Country Saying" at the Mayor's House and use on one of your Fields.
"At long last! It is completed!"
When the Wheat refill is complete it will be found in the Resources tab of the Star menu like other refills, the rest of the Collections buffs appear in the Buffs tab.
Reward: 10 ::coins:: - 6 Scarecrows - 12 Herbs
http://thesettlersonlinewiki.com/uploads/1335231325CollectionBuffProgress.JPG
Like orders in the Bookbinder buffs must be "Picked Up" when complete and they cannot be queued. When the building is upgrading buff production pauses though Settlers continue to arrive so long as there is room for them.
Upgrading the Mayor's House and buffs to speed population growth do not decrease production time.
•••
• Adventure Time
(level 26 - Quest completed "Complete a Collection")
"Collect a Bronze Cauldron from an adventure map. It can only be found on adventure maps you visit and will not reappear on that adventure once you have collected it. Best of luck!"
• Own at least one Bronze Cauldron.
"You're quite the explorer!"
The quest can be completed simply by "owning" 1 Bronze Cauldron whether found on an Adventure, purchased in Trade or borrowed for just a minute.
Adventures: There is a chance of a Bronze Cauldron (and Adamantium Ore) from any standard Adventure, but only a chance, it is not guaranteed they will appear, if there is at least one Collectible to find "Collect All" will be in the Quest Book when you visit. Event Adventures are a bit of a wild card, it's uncertain whether they all have them. When you find and click one the Adventure Collectibles are delivered immediately in separate "Adventures Shipment" mail that can be claimed on the Home Island and added from the Star to the Mayor like regular loot. You do not need to send troops or complete the Adventure to find Cauldrons, if they are there you can cancel the Adventure when they've all been collected, they will not respawn.
In a multiple player Adv everyone who has joined the Adventure when a player clicks a Collectible should find a shipment mail at home, if a player joins an Adventure after a Collectible has been collected they will not get that one. The invitation must be accepted to count, simply 'invited' isn't enough so make sure everyone has actually joined before collecting.
NOTE: As of March 2014 the delivery process has been changed some on the Test server, Adventures must be completed before the mail with collectibles arrives. It is likely this will go live on the regular servers before too long.
Note: Premium does not give extra Adventure Collectibles.
Reward: 30 ::coins:: - 50 ::steel::
Quest Chain Reward: 60 ::gem::

•"Collect All"•
A heading called http://thesettlersonlinewiki.com/uploads/506295042CollectiblesCollectionQuestHeader.JPG holds the recurring quest to:
• Collect All
"The scouts have reported that the collectible items have reappeared on our island. You should go and check them out for yourself."
• Collect all the collectibles on the map.
"Great! You found all the collectibles! We'll have to keep an eye out for when they reappear next!"
There are no rewards for this quest, it's there just to show how many Collectibles are hiding on your Island, it resets every 8 to 10 hours when a new set of Collectibles arrives and the number of items to find can change with each reset. Use it as a guide or ignore it completely, even if you only ever click the items you stumble across they'll add up quickly.
http://thesettlersonlinewiki.com/uploads/1949723242CollectiblesQuest_CollectAll.JPG
Adventures: "Collect All" will also appear on Adventures if there is at least one Collectible to be found and Collectibles once collected do not respawn on Adventures. Remember, any standard Adv can have them but not every Adv will.

Collectibles are quite small and will fit even in places a Flowerbed won't go so don't forget to check in nooks, between buildings, 'neath trees, along rugged coastlines, under wisps of cloud and in other out-of-the-way places and remember, a pair of fresh eyes can work wonders. There is also the possibility of:
•Extremely Hidden Collectibles•
Collectibles are sometimes hidden completely by the terrain or a building, if you're lucky you may be able to spot them when the map is "Loading..." and the landscape and buildings haven't yet appeared. Otherwise it really is a case of mousing over everything and crossing your fingers, purchasing a Reveal buff either from the Trade Office or for gems in the Merchant, or simply deciding to let that one stay unfound.
I have just found a collectible on my island that would never be found unless I'd rolled my mouse pointer over it, as it was hidden behind a mountain on the East side of s8:
This image shows where I found it - you can see that when the text isn't there, it's invisible. Surely, a collectible shouldn't appear here?

Original bug report on the Test server (http://forum.tsotesting.com/threads/19221-Collectible-behind-mountains)
Thanks to Jamdoggy for posting this fantastic image and to Fexno and peck_ed for other animation and images. :)
Please note: This post is still a work in progress and all this information can be found in the guide above and the posts below but while real life has been demanding of late I wanted to get at least the bulk of it up in a more collected form before even more time had passed. I'll try to get things tidied and more added soon. :)
Once again, many thanks to everyone who has contributed, do please carry on, it's much appreciated. :D
•FAQ•
Home Island
• Where can I find the different Collectibles?
Herbs, Scarecrows, Food Carts, Kettles and Banners are on Home Islands only, Bronze Cauldrons are only on Adventures. They can all be found for sale or swap in the Trade Office under "Miscellaneous" as well.
• How often do Collectibles respawn?
On 23.03.16 (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/32572-Change-Log-23-02-2016?p=296004#post296004) the timing pattern was revised, now players have some control:
Every 8 hours old Collectibles are removed, a new set appears and the counter 'quest' "Collect All" restarts. The number of Collectibles can vary with each reset and the start of the 8 hour countdown is set by your first login of the day. For example: If you log in in the morning at 07.00 the next set should appear at 15.00. If you stay logged out long enough, like overnight, the timer should reset to your next login time.
• Do I have to own a sector to find Collectibles there?
No, if there are no clouds and you can see the sector Collectibles can appear there.
• What is the reward for finding all the Collectibles?
There are no rewards for "Collect All", it's there just to show how many Collectibles are hiding on your Island, it resets every time a new set of Collectibles arrives. Use it as a guide or ignore it completely, even if you only ever click the items you stumble across they'll add up quickly.
• Can I help a friend search their Island?
Yes but only the Island's owner can click and collect.
• I've started making a Collections buff in the Mayor but the timer isn't moving, is it bugged?
Buildings pause their production whilst upgrading, when the upgrade is complete production starts again. The Mayor is a little different, buff production pauses but Settlers will keep coming so long as there is there is room for them and upgrading the Mayor's House and buffs to speed population growth do not decrease buff production time.

Adventures and Bronze Cauldrons
• Which Adventures give Bronze Cauldrons?
All the standard Adventures from Explorer searches, rewards from completing another Adventure (follow-up,) and the Merchant "Adventure" section have a chance of Cauldrons, whether or not a specific one does this time is random. It's still uncertain if all the special Event Adventures have them or no.
• How do I know if my Adventure has any Cauldrons?
As soon as an Adventure has been started you can Visit and look in the Quest Book, if there are Cauldrons to find "Collect All" will show, you do not need to send any troops or complete the Adventure to collect Cauldrons. Once collected Cauldrons do not respawn on Adventures, if they've all been collected you can play or cancel the Adventure at will. Remember, any standard Adv can have them but not every one will every time.
• Does everyone on a multiple-player Adventure that has Cauldrons get them?
Everyone who has accepted the invitation before Cauldrons are collected gets their own set, simply being invited isn't enough. On Adventures every player can see and collect Cauldrons but it's wise to talk to each other, make sure everyone has actually joined the Adventure and decide who is going to collect them so nobody misses out.
• I clicked a Cauldron on an Adventure but I now can't find it anywhere, where did it go?
When you or another player finds and clicks one the Cauldrons are delivered immediately in separate "Adventures Shipment" Mail that can be claimed on the Home Island and added from the Star menu "Resources" tab to the Mayor like regular loot. To see how many you have stored in the Mayor open the Collections tab and scroll down to "Potion of Endless Energy" or look in the Trade Office -> Selling -> Place Offer -> "Offer" -> and scroll down or untick everything but "Miscellaneous".

•Tips and Tricks•
Collectibles "should" all be appear at the same time but many people swear they've found something later in a place they're certain they already checked. It's worth doing something else for a little then looking again, it's easy to look right past something if you look hard for it.
In case a graphic has glitched visiting a friend's Island and returning home or refreshing may make the missing appear and asking an eagle-eyed friend for help often ends in everything being found.
Collectibles can also be very hidden and sometimes the only way to find them is to mouse over them accidentally but here are two excellent tricks to narrow things down in sectors you own. Neither works in Bandit occupied territory or on Adventures but the vast majority of Collectibles will be in sectors you've claimed at home.:
Decorations:
Building a small deco like a Flowerbed helps to spot most collectibles
http://i.imgur.com/trhouBE.png
Choosing "Move Building" from the build menu for one already built works too, Collectibles make gaps in the [green].
Roads:
Collectibles are placed the same way as roads, between buildable locations.
They can be found immediately adjacent to buildings, but not behind them (although a tall building like the Trade Office may still hide them - due to the size).
And it appears that they can only appear where it is possible to build a road, which does apply to the hidden locations posted here (the "Build Street" tool highlights when you hover over them). It's likely the "cosmetics" covering more space than the actual object, like the Friary.
There is some discussion ironing out the finer points on this further down the thread but it's well worth taking a trip around the Island with the "Build Street" tool from the Toolbox in the building menu to find possible future spawning points.
Thanks for the helpful guide, Iolanthe. I am struggling with 3/9 collectibles on my island, but after seeing the "hidden" image examples, I'll have another go...
How long does it reappear the collectables???
Hey there... id like to khnow how many times a day does the items apear on the map?
"Even if you only ever collect the items you happen to find as you go about other things they'll add up quickly."
That one sentence at the very beginning of this guide said it all: you don't need to collect them all, even if you only click on those you can plainly see or accidentely click going about on your island will help add up quite fast. The hidden once are there for the die hard searchers, you can just leave them if you want.
Hey there... id like to khnow how many times a day does the items apear on the map?
That information is already in the guide:
Each icon you find and click randomly gives 1 or a few of the item.
Old Collectibles disappear from Home Islands every 8 to 10 hours when a new set arrives, the timing can vary with each reset and from player to player.

I wonder how limited the list is of locations for an item to appear in is.. would it be possible to make a map showing where items have been found previously and so be likely to appear in again? I'm having great difficulty spotting banners and scarecrows and this might be a help, esp if it was broken down by sector.
Come to think of it it would be handy if the quest itself showed how many and what sectors they are in.. would save time and make searches more focused.

Very well done, Iolanthe!
Thank you for all your efforts!
Excellent guide, thanks! I'm just wondering one thing: Can collectables other then cauldrons appear on adventures? Or can I safely assume that if there is no collection quest there is nothing to collect? Would be nice to clearify that in the guide.

That's the bunny! cheers Hairy.. gonna give it a try now.
Fantastic! this map helped so much.. got 13/14 with little fuss.. spotted 4 or 5 dots either a lil off or just close to another position but still. I divided up the map into sectors and numbered the locations to make searching easier.. :D

Only Cauldrons are on Adventures, the others all stay safely at home. The Collection Quest should pop up as soon as any Cauldrons do the first time you visit an Adventure so aye, no Quest, no Cauldrons, no* anything else*. Cheers for the suggestion, it's updated now. :)
And my thanks to everyone who's spoken kindly of the [Guide], I'm very glad it's been useful. :o Any other suggestions or corrections of errors are more than welcome.
Here's a map by one player (http://diekampfkatze.at/mapithem2.jpg)
This map is a great start, just keep in mind it doesn't show all the possible places for Collectibles, I suspect one would need an Island entirely free of buildings, trees, and clouds (and rocks) to map them all accurately. It may yet be a bit before such a thing comes to be.

We shall search our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall find them on the beaches, we shall find them on the landing grounds, we shall find them in the fields and in the streets, we shall find them under the hills; we shall never surrender. Winston Bonechurchill.
This was posted on the .net forum. (source: http://forum.thesettlersonline.net/threads/19062-Tips-for-Finding-Spawn-locations)
I'll repost it here.
These are tips for finding the Collectibles.
If you have a FlowerBed or some sort of decoration that takes up 1x1 grid space. Either from your star menu (misc) or on the map.
Click to place it. or click to move it (using move tool).
It will highlight all the green area on the map. Screen capture this and keep it handy. It will help you find collectibles on the island because they'll only spawn where the green spots area.
It's best to screen capture this when you have your collect all quest complete first. This way it's a clean clear map.
Next time you get a collect all quest. Just start looking at all the green hot spots from your little screen capture cheat sheet.
Enjoy the tip! :-) (I came up with it myself.)
Another tip is buy decorations from TO or gem store and plug all the green spots up on the map. The more you fill up the better. This will reduce the spots you have to look for where they'll spawn. Plug up holes for those annoying places. Or just plug up holes for an entire sector and you'll never have to look at that sector again.
Cut down all the trees! that will also help. :-)
Actually, they're more like decorations that is 'shifted' to where the roads are. There are a lot of decorations that have 'shifted' placements. You know this because they have arrows to readjust. So they appear to follow roads. but in fact they're taking up 'buildable' 1x1 grid tiles. If you fill up the map with 1x1 decorations, this will reduce where they will spawn. In fact it might cause them not to spawn at all. Maybe they'll go into your star menu for free. :-) I've never tested this theory out but it seems to be the case.
Cheers everyone for the Tips n' Tricks and further hiding places, I started sorting a post for them all here yesterday but got hung up. I'll try to get everything updated today. :)
RonPope, we've had that here as well:
Building a small deco like a Flowerbed helps to spot most collectibles
http://i.imgur.com/trhouBE.png
it's a great tip. :)
The difference with Roads, if I've followed everything correctly, is that "Build a Road" will highlight extra spots a Decoration misses so while it can't be used as an overlay it can light up inside a Mountain and between two abutting buildings or Decs where Collectibles can still manage to squeeze in. If you take a spin around the Island with it you can get an idea of where things may turn up in the future.
We shall search our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall find them on the beaches, we shall find them on the landing grounds, we shall find them in the fields and in the streets, we shall find them under the hills; we shall never surrender.

Cool. Have linked to this from my common questions guide (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/20541-Guide-Commonly-asked-questions)
One suggestion, some of the answers to the more common questions (like finding cauldrons on adventures) are a little bit hidden in with other details. Could be worth breaking out the answers to some of the biggest problems or making them stand out more.

They are definitely placed where roads can also be. Try hovering the Build Street tool over collectibles, it's spot on. :)
Also, it is possible to place an object around a collectible - as if the collectible was a road - although an area is darkened and the collectible does block a spot for a 1x1 object (which makes the trick with the decoration possible).
As for the decorations, the same thing applies to them as with buildings: Collectibles can be placed in front of them, but not behind them. In fact, it seems to be the case with any objects on "buildable" locations (including rocks and cliffs, which can cause the hidden collectibles).
interesting making your own buffs BUT it is so boring scouting your island in this way, Do something BB

i disagree with that fact "collectable are no place behind buildings" i clicked on a sleeping woodcutter and found herbs.
it is ridiculous to hide collectables in this way.
also it seems that no all collectable are placed on the map at the same time as i had searched sector 1 then when i come back after finding some collectables in others sectors a collectable was sitting right in the middle of it...there is no way i would have missed it the 1st time round.
so it seems that no only are collectables hiddden behind buildings but can also appear later on in a sector you have already coverd ?...
do BB realt think players have nothing better to do then mouse over thier map all day trying to find these things....another idea implemented stupidly.
i guess this post will be deleted as i have posted about this before only to have a mod delete what that dont like hearing!!!!

Lol, your last line and the general tone of your message is exactly what might trigger a Mod to delete your comment, because you are not taken seriously..
I'm not saying you are not serious, but it's is the general 'negative tone'' of your input, no offence, but it is all wrong, there is nothing good in your message.. and you are infact provoking the Mod to delete this, because you say a mod will do just that..
A self fulfilling prophecy :) If I were a mod, it's very tempting not to delete your post -lol-
Ok, having said that..
I can understand your frustration if things are not working as it should.
But to be honest I have only today come across some weird behavior regarding the collectibles, only to find that more things were behaving not as they should do.
But that does not mean everything isn't bad, now is it ?
I can imagine some building blocking the view of other things, I have a black castle blocking the hunter behind it, so that is perfectly possible.
Not desirable, but possible to occur, and so if that is a clear spot, where a collectable can be placed, it's not in clear view, that is something that's needs some work to fix.
I do agree that should not be the case, maybe because they are delivered randomly it's a problem to get it right: How do you check if the collectable can be seen or not. That's a question I can not answer.
So I think you comment will not be deleted, because although it is reasonably negative, you do have a valid point, and you are only ventilating your frustration.
Maybe it should be moved to the feedback topic, and not be placed in the 'Guide' topic.
That can be the only valid reason I can think off at this moment why a Mod would delete your post :)
(MOD: if you read this, if needed please move to the appropriate topic, thank you :) )
Bad Criticism is not good, but try to give it in perspective with a positive view, be exact,
and give good examples to show where it goes wrong, than they have a chance to fix things, if they know what goes wrong, when and how.
They have tried to give us a nice 'search' quest, like the easter egg hunts etc. and I think it's nice.
Maybe not 100 reliable, but a nice for what does work.
I do hope this can be solved, and you can find your collectibles normally.

Hi ATHTHEMANIAC,
Your post was not deleted, just moved to this thread:
http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/25586-Feedback-Collectible-Items-Appear!?p=240229&viewfull=1#post240229
Since it didn't seem to give feedback on the guide itself, but on the collectibles.
You received a private message telling you that.
Now please, let's keep this thread for feedback/suggestions on the guide.
Thanks,
Fexno

i discovered a drastic way to make your hunt for collectibles more easy : switch your foresters OFF and let the wood cutters cut down all the threes on your island. It works !

Lol. Yes that is a bit drastic. As I need my hardwood for mines and pinewood for tools and coal, I think I'll just be happy with what I find by chance. Still, it's not so drastic as to plant flowerbeds over the entire island to reduce the spawn points. I've started doing that. Since I'm not going to spend a lot of gems on it, I figured I'll have the island covered in about only 20 to 25 years. :p
No words needed :D

For Windows 7 users, the "Magnify" tool in Ease of Access is great for zooming in searching. So far, I have collected every collectible almost every time :)
The build/move overlay shows hidden collectibles too:

Nice, good idea :)
How about an option - collect say 10 scarecrows and get an option to get a permanent one for decoration ? Same with the herb fields!
Must admit I'm a fan of the collectibles. They're free and can be used to make something useful (even if you only like ONE of the buffs, just make that, trade any unwanted collectibles)
I just think of it as another fun challenge, most can be found fairly easily and I'll come back and try and find the more difficult ones later while I'm waiting for mines being built etc. If a few escape me (or are hidden too well) I don't stress about it.
Finding them won't be for everyone but to me that's one of the main points of TSO - its a game full of different things to do, some you like, some you don't so you simply choose your style of play. In the case of collectibles you can simply ignore them.
Hopefully BB will add to or change the collectibles/makeable buffs now and again to keep things fresh (like with the Halloween pumpkins)
Hey guys,
as i went through the german board i stumbled across a nice thread about methods to be used in an automated tool. Its german but i think one can understand most of it only by looking at the pictures:
http://forum.diesiedleronline.de/threads/99236-SammelItems-Vorstellung-zweier-legaler-Suchroutinen
In principle there are two methods, nothing that wasnt allready discussed here or elsewhere:
1. Make a screenshot of your island and scan for the pixel-footprint of the collectibles.
2. Make a screenshot of your island while holding a 1x1 decorational item in your hand (e.g. flowerbed) and compare it to the same picture without collectibles (needs to be made before)
The author claims a >90% discovery for method 1 in a matter of seconds. Method 2 yields 100% discoverys but is a little bit uncomfortable to use.
So far so old. Whats new are precompiled executables for Windows at the end of the thread, and well...it works out! The last few days it took me only something like 30seconds per spawn of collectibles to catch them all. The items that couldnt be found be the dsofinder-tool (2 in ~80) were easily found by a tool tailored around the building-site method (divfinder).
Two things were mentioned later in the thread:
1: its absolutely legal to use these tools (confirmed by the german exploit support)
2: The author links the sourcecode (pretty easy c++ code in Qt Framework) to compile it for Mac or whatever.
If you want to try it out i would recommend the PTR-Tool as it comes around with a few changes to handle it more comfortable and has christmas collectibles included allready.
Very useful link there, but there is still the problem with collectibles under rocks and some appearing after you've checked the whole map.
If they were easier to find, people would never have had to resort to asking for friends to help them look, or software to do it for you.
Agreed; I've occasionally found them within one of my structures. Someone even made an app to sniff out collectibles but, sometimes, it only highlights probable locations.
There should be a clearer out-of-bounds for collectibles appearing in layers that make them invisble or even glued inside a player's buildings.

Such a great Guide, Iolanthe.

So think about that :)
Important new info: with the new way of delivering collectibles in mail after adventure has finished, there are two important changes
(1) Additional players on an adventure receive all collectibles even if they were clicked on before they joined the adventure
(2) No collectibles are sent out if the adventure is cancelled. I've yet to check what happens if the timer runs out...
