Description
Are your storehouses full to bursting point, and you've got nowhere to keep your resources? Then you probably need the Improved Storehouse. It provides three times the space of a normal storehouse.

Not really.
Regular warehouse is 2x2 footprint. Improved one is 3x2 sideways. So when I have whole sector/island filled I cant just replace normal warehouse with new one, cause there will be to less space. And moving/rearranging buildings in whole sector to fit new building would cost 10k+ so its simply not worth it.

Too bad cause its new and nice (not to mention unique) building, and besides it there is nothing new in this event. BHG got only new avatar, schools were here already last year, silos (like BHG) can be aqquired with gems. So Improved Warehouse is the only unique thing in this event that can be shown on your island (not mentioning golem statue, since everybody will get one).

Yes it returns to your star menu but be advised that you lose all applied upgrades.

BTW the building will cost 750 gems in the shop after the Halloween event.

I investigated one and it appears that the surrounding buildings are slower in the bottom-right half. It's like there is 1/2 a building at the side of the storehouse which any production has to go past before they can deliver their goods.

So as well as requiring buildings to be moved to make room for the improved storehouse replacing a normal one, production on the island suffers. Is this the intention? I would have thought "improved" would mean the opposite if anything!

That the same situation on the normal storehouse. Entrances to work yards and storehouses are on the bottom-right side so the worker has to go around the work yard.

Now I see your point. It's because the imp. store house is 3x2 and normal is 2x2 so the entrance to imp. store house is inside the building.

Testing server is under maint. so I didn't get the screenshots.

Mayor's house has similar entrance.

The mayor's house has an extremely expensive enormous grand stairway to impress visitors - a storehouse is to store things as quickly as possible!

The improved storehouse is not much of an improvement imo.

It gives more storage space than normal storehouses yes, but the irregular shape makes it difficult to place buildings effectively around it.

The only real advantage is that is does not use a building licence, but if you are not short on licences then it is a waste of gems to buy them.
