Island turns Yellow by trying to build a decoration.

I tried to build a decoration and noticed that the whole island turned yellow.

It only happens with decorations, not with normal buildings. (as far as i know)

Hey Harley60, you're seeing just what you should. The yellow/green overlay shows the places it's possible to build a specific building, most Decorations are teeny (they're generally counted as 1 space by 1 space) so can be built almost anywhere. Most regular buildings like Sawmills and Wheatfields (2x2) have fewer possible spots so light up less area and Mines can only be built directly on their deposits so only those light up.

Because Decorations light up so much they're handy when you're looking for Collectibles (level 16 on) in sectors you own, if you try to place a Dec (or *move* one from level 8 on) a Collectible item will often make a small dark patch in the overlay.

Ok, thank you.

It seemed very strange that even the trees would light up and that it seemed possible to build a decoration up on a tree.

The same happened to me on the test server with a noble residence deed, after that the server crashed and nobody is able to login til now.
So i was afraid to try it here.

I tried to build a decoration on top of the roof of a residence, it ended up right next to the residence.
So, no bugs occured.
