View Full Version : Why do people post in this section?
No comment from me. Just interested in people's reasons.
Q. Why do you post suggestions in this section?
Options are ordered from most to least positive:
1. I think my suggestion will be implemented
2. I think I will receive a developer response to my suggestion
3. I think my suggestion will at least be seen by the developers
4. None of the above, but it's fun to discuss these things with other players
5. None of the above, but it allows me to vent frustration over game features I don't like

No, it wasn't in the wrong section, it was in the section it was relevant to
Please move it back
Those who voted for #2 or #3 might like to read this post (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/25322-Player-voting-for-new-features-visibility-of-BB-acceptance?p=244807&viewfull=1#post244807) and reconsider.
I would have voted #3 except now realize that only #4 or #5 are possible.
(just my opinion, not posted to incite a flame war or any heated response, just to inform players of the most current information)
The poll is relevant to the Game Suggestions sub-forum. My replies are relevant to there.
wait wrong section of the forum? I voted for a general discussion post(like it was original). now I'm thinking he posted it in the bugs section after mods post
I post when
a. two or more things related to a topic are depicted in a misleading/wrong way
b. to express an opinion that may have been missed by others and can be relevant in understanding a phenomenon/behaviour
For a while, fuelled by some posts with blue writing, I maintained the illusion of '3'. The post said information is gathered and presented to developers. Chat interventions regarding availability of nords2 and items suggested the same - information is flowing. The disclaimer was present in all situations, no response guaranteed. I think somewhere behind "I accept" accountability is denied.

Hard to decide. Would be better choosing two or three, and the last two without the "None of the above, but". So, I think 4,2,(1)...

You should add an option: None of the above because as far as I have seen suggestions here are going nowhere so I don't suggest anything.
