Missing Gold Tower

When I place my gold tower, it disappears from the map after a few seconds. It's then placed back greyed in my star menu. When I refresh my IE the gold tower is usable again, but so far I've been unable to get it actually placed on my island. Complete shutdown of my PC didn't help either.
Anybody got any clues?

Yesterday, while I was building my gold tower in s6, I was kicked off the server because of the server zone crashed. Now that I have finally be able to log back in, the gold tower is missing. It's not in island nor is it under my star. So far, support hasn't replied to my ticket.
Any idea why this happened guys?

Support doesn't work on the weekend, but you should have gotten an automated reply on the email you registered with.
In the case of the gold tower, you might want to check if you suddenly have to claim it again from the Christmas Surprise.
