I'm interested in working out how many eggs an Explorer brings back.
I have 11 explorers, and sending them out constantly, I've so far done 21 Long searches, with the following results:
0 eggs: 11 times (52%)
20 eggs: 3 times (14%)
30 eggs: 7 times (33%)
Just wondering if anyone would be able to help with their own numbers. The more the better, and I'll add them to my spreadsheet, and post the results here. It'll be interesting to see which is the most effective search.
Short Search: 0, 5 or 10 eggs
Medium Search: 0, 10 or 20 eggs
Long Search: 0, 20 or 30 eggs
Very Long: 0, 30 or 50 eggs
think i had about 190 eggs from Iong treasure hunt sending out my fast gens {15 of them} over a 24hr period i.e. i sent them out 2 times, iv not incIuded my sIow ones cos that wouId hurt my brain hehe not sure if this wiII heIp but wouId be interested to see if the very Iong treasure hunt is any better

Assuming equal quantities: A 'Long' treasure search returns an average of 16.7 eggs per 12 hours, so 33.3 eggs per day.
A 'Very Long' treasure search returns an average of 26.7 eggs in 24 hours.
Of course, this is assuming that sending 3 searches returns on each of 0, 20 and 30 eggs on a long search, and returns 0, 30 and 50 eggs on a very long. The percentage chances of finding each one does affect those numbers, but unless a very long search has a much higher chance of 50 eggs, then it won't be that significant.
What about skills to increase the speed and returns of explorers? Those skills would have a greater impact on the v long searches, which could easily swing the percentages round to favour the v long searches.
Ultimately, there are too many factors to take into account for different players, and too many unknowns, I think...
yes this is true geron but as a basic wouId be nice to know? easter event has onIy justs started here in northiIse server so hard to say which is best yet, its not a bad thing to try and figure which is best end of the day most need eggs buddy but i know what ur saying with the skiIIz etc
I tested only very long serach 0-30-50, if you have sturdy shovel (9% more loot) 0-43-71
For me is more important be here when is explore back, than sending explorer on same search every time. combinations of all search is best

0 eggs in the last 24 h , on medium ,long and very long searches , from 8 explorers
I have 18 Explorers: 15 Fast, 3 Slow.
Of the 15 fast ones, 6 are fully upgraded (21/21).
I have noticed:
Fully Upgraded Explorers: 100% Return since event started on Very Long searches
Non-Upgraded Fast Explorers: 50% Return since event started on Very Long searches
Slow Explorers: Insufficient data (event just started!)
This seems roughly consistent throughout the guild. It appears being fully (not partially) upgraded gives you a higher (100%?) chance of a drop. Hopefully intentional and BB doesn't adjust this ^.^;
(Either that, or I'm just extremely lucky so far).
Very Long: 0, 30 or 50 eggs
My explorer brought me 63 eggs, I forgot to snapshoot.
On long searches i'm seeing about 33% of my explorers return with eggs, yeilding about 13 eggs per search.
An update to my numbers (note, still 'long' search only):
Searches: 61
0 Eggs: 32 times (52%)
20 Eggs: 16 times (26%)
30 Eggs: 13 times (21%)
Total Eggs: 710

12 hr search on 4 savage explorers , 3 explorers resulted in ONE savage explorer returning with 20 eggs !!!
on average sending these out twice a day i get about 20 eggs..... one quest requires us to collect between 500-800 depending on your level well with getting 20 eggs a day will mean between 25-40 days to finish this quest alone !!

Yes the drop rate for eggs with savages or explorers are way to low in my opinion. Yesterday 3 out of more than 20 treasure searches came home with eggs. Today so far 2 out of 9.
Just an update: My fully upgraded fast explorers are now returning without eggs! The nerve of them. So it's not 100%, I was just very lucky the first couple of days. I still seem to be seeing a consistent 50%+ drop rate with very long searches, but maybe this will change after a few hundred more runs :P

I'm nowhere near 50%. My drop rate is between 10-20% since the beginning of event. Mostly very long and medium searches. I have 15 Savages and 3 explorers.

yeah i'm slightly better than 20% that find eggs although 2day I had 15 savage scouts sent out with only 1 finding eggs on a medium search, laughable results! maybe there's a cap of how many u can find in a single day, who knows!
Anyway Ive found the best way to get eggs is do a 2 player adv, team up with someone, and share loots, u can do up to 4 dp in a day each (8 loots) with around 1000 recs losses and a small amount of cav (most players should be able to handle that) buy dp's in the shop for 150 mf, cheap as chips!
My loots so far :
Roaring Bull = 7 loots = 0 eggs from any, avoid this as losses are too high and chance for eggs is 1 in 10
Pirates = 7 loots = 3 with eggs, ok decent losses but 6 or 20 eggs aint enuff here, prob best to avoid single player adv during easter as the losses don't equal the rewards when your chasing eggs.
Dark Priests = 32 loots = 17 with eggs (9 of those were 40!!) By far the best adv to play, cheap to buy, team up and u get double loot! chance of 12 or 40 eggs.
If u want a constant supply of relatively cheap eggs try my dp method (beware I did have 15 out of 32 without eggs so patience is required.

so far 2 days of sending out savage scouts on medium treasure search (easter quest to get 20 eggs from medium search) results so far =0

i done 30 odd dps in the 1st week and only got 4 drops.....looks like i got the easter egg bug i read about as your (mutantkid) 17/32 is way better ratio then i got

I've done 5 very long treasure search so far. 0 eggs so far. As it´s a part of a quest to collect 50 eggs from very Long treasure search I found it very annoying.

Somewhat lower than the rates before it. Did anything change or did I continue to be unlucky?

Jessie, how do you get two egg results in one search? is it a skill in the explorer tree?
What a cool explorer. Can I rent one form you ? ;)

21 searches are definitely not enough to state something about odds.
I have 15 Fast and 3 Slow Explorers, so (doing Medium + Long Searches) I do over 50 searches in 24 hours.
My ratio seems to be closer to getting the "high" reward about 10% and the "low" reward about 25% of the time.
Yesterday I got "no eggs" on over 40 searches: There goes "variation is evil" again.

I got the same feeling.
Since Friday, I seem to be getting "No eggs" at least 2/3, before that it used to be closer to 1/2.
At the end of the day it's not how many successful searches what counts, it's total number of eggs from a set number of searches. 50 searches from 100 returning 20 eggs each is a worse result than 35 from 100 returning 30 eggs each. Through out the event so far no matter how many of my explorers have actually found eggs, average per search has remained pretty much the same.
Jessie, how do you get two egg results in one search? is it a skill in the explorer tree?I don't know, it says he is improved, so maybe that is for extra. I got two eggs lots few times again from explorers, just not so much.
