View Full Version : Alternative "Lootspot buff"

Many high level players have been using Ranged Support ever since in order to save travel time on lootspots, providing convenience both to the giver and the recipient.

Suggestion:

Introduce a new buff:

"Deadly Arrow"
Cost: 30 Star Coins
Effect: Kill 1 random enemy unit.
Can not be used on leader camps.

(Also available for 100 coins for lower levelled players)

This would save a lot of players a lot of irritation and would be a convenient alternative plus a good sink for (star) coins.

edited, just saw test server, great news there on the way back as a different variation.

go check the test server... those buffs are returning but with the change that you can only hit a camp once only.

Still would be nice to have a "lootspot buff" with only 1 purpose.

Yeah I agree, the RS and WPP are complete waste for a lootspot. If you could buy one for 30 or so star coins (with no limit on how many you can buy) and the coin version for lower players it would be very nice. Just 1 unit killed from a camp so you're eligible for the loot without making the owner wait for 15-20 minutes til you get a kill would be nice

Or change the rule and give loot without kill

not if your doing a 3 way CLT swap there not, I'd rather waste a few star coins than sit round for 2+ hours watching my general trundle across 2 maps. Plus if you use on the last leader camp the final attack saves quite a few soldiers.

That's somehow a Red herring, since the point is not so much whether the Combat Buffs in general are useful or not - but whether the 15+ minutes of idle time for the adventure hoster before getting the adventure done are really making the game more enjoyable for everyone (sometimes significantly more, if someone queued up lootspots and messed up)
