For the first attack only your MMA general or VETERAN general is needed:

Send all generals after each other with a small pause between each. There is a lot of time in this block and so you don't have to be too fast.

All garrison setups have been tested using this simulator (http://settlersonlinesimulator.com/dso_kampfsimulator/en/).
Don't be too quick sending your generals in the blocks the biggest risk is getting intercepted by the camp you are trying to bypass. All blocks have lots of time.

I've put honest effort into this, but I'm only adding MMA to an already finished guide. THE BULK OF THE WORK WAS DONE BEFORE I EVEN STARTED. Please give credit where credit is due.

Another setup for G4 on Surprise Attack:
The camps positions are good, only the troops for camp A will be 127C and 73E. Then you can with camp A block camp 11 instead of killing that camp. The other camps do the same thing as in the Guide. This save the kill on 11 and 1 step less to do on SA. Count to 4 before sending gen of camp B.

Edit: I have moved my guide to my own thread, as I plan to add more guides and I want to get feedback and to keep them together.

Guide for Suprise Attack (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/28328-Guide-urgabel-s-Adventures?p=258039&viewfull=1#post258039) with full blocks, optimized for low population and using Veteran/Major and optionally Martial Arts general.
Average casualties with Veteran + MMA: 192R 41M 31S

This was (and is) intended as follow-up to PrincessAlly's guide with added MMA. Setup is not optimal by no means. This is not one of evil-j's guides. It intends to lessen the losses by retaining the relatively low difficulty on blocks. I am aware there are more troop-efficient guides out there. However, do note that time-wise must sometimes outweigh troop loss to achieve cost-efficiency. This game is not played in isolation and time for further block + a considerable margin for error must duly be noted. I've only stepped up to provide a more cost-efficient, time-conserving, block-conservative alternative to the most-used exp adventure. All and everyone are more than welcome to correct me in any way possible.

"From C to Camp 19) 130 Housecarl, 70 Berserk
BLOCKING NORMAL general: 188S 12E {minimum 210 seconds to end of battle, rounds 5 - 5 - 5}"

5 Rounds is 100 seconds: Note the battle will be lost so there's no pulldown effect.

Adjust the amount of Elites for a longer block, ideally up to 165ES/35S which will give you a minimum block of 180 seconds (7 rounds + win) and 99% of the cases 200 sec block, but less works too.

I have played SA with that block probably 200 times and not once did that setup failed It is a last block in the attack and Main general kills the leader in 2 rounds.

Didn't say the block would fail, I havn't tried it, I said the info of the time is wrong, and you can adjust setups to make it longer.

CrazyBat
13.01.15, 10:03
Alright, still no need since last attack lasts 20 seconds. 100 seconds of the block is more then enough.

Vopicus

Last attack last up to 40 seconds, and there's walking time to add too.

CrazyBat

2-2 rounds - veteran - 20 seconds. Dude, it never fails and I am taking my time with sending out attacks.....

Vopicus
17.01.15, 22:08
2 rounds only take 2 seconds if you loose, when you win you have to pull down the camp too, in this case a camp with 250 hp.

2 Rounds combat = 20 seconds yes, but then the camp have to be removed too, which is another 2 rounds. ((120+40+40)*2>250)

2+2 = 4 rounds = 40 seconds.

As I said I never said the block was apt to fail, the timing information however is wrong, and I pointed out ways it could be made safer, all the way up to extremely safe.

Yes 60 seconds is a decent amount of time to pass through the red area, and if you're happy with that, fine go ahead and continue doing so, if you want to make it safer, I added alternatives. I'm just adding safer alternatives, I'm not trying to force you to use them.

The rounds here are probably copy=paste wrong. This block has a minimum of 210 seconds, which makes it very, very safe.

5 rounds (lost) takes 100 seconds, not 210 seconds, you're welcome to time it.

nice i waited 3-5 seconds between each send and over 100 elites killed, great..

You're right about the interception possibility if u dont count to 3, but the problem is 3 sec is not enough, i counted 5 seconds and they still got intercepted by the same camp and i lost 100 elites, kinda annoyed at this guide for guiding me into useless blocking. Because the wiki has a safer way to do this, without losing so much casualties or taking so much risks.
Sure the wiki guide takes a little bit longer but u dont lose so many.

Agreed - if you follow the wiki guide the blocks are probably the most stable in all the advanced adventures. I lost a lot of elite once but only because I was positioned wrong - my fault and not the guide. The jury is still out if you can make the final attacks (4 camps plus leader in the bottom right) in one attack - I know its been tried - but otherwise, if you are careful and use the wiki guide the adventure is easily done.
