Shadowlink, how long has it been an issue for you? I have sent an email to support, not expecting an answer back anytime soon though

I logged on newfoundland about an hour ago no problems.

I imagine it is reasonably isolated or there would be a lot of people jumping up and down. I just tried again, no joy. Very frustrating.

Tried a different browser?
Also, had a Flash update recently? If so, might be worth going to Adobe and using their Flash removal tool, before d/loading and installing a fresh copy.
One of the reasons I stopped visiting Test was that it seemed to cause corruption on my subsequent visits here, especially when I reached very high levels on there.

Hi Nogbad, yes, tried a different browser, different PCs, and just reinstalled Flash as suggested - no difference. I only went to test server to see if I could log on, dont think that is an issue in this case.

I experience a lot of long loading times when setting up trades or jumping to and from friends islands and from adv's(to adv's it is fairly normal I reckon), also today I had to send out my explorers and geos 2-3 times before it registered, also to 2 tries before one of my mines were demolished. And before you say it's on my end, it isn't, I have no probs with the other internet games I play.

If memory serves me right, this erratic server behavior is very common during events possibly due to a heavier load on the servers, a server upgrade might be a good solution, But hey... I don't know much about these technical thingymabobs (sorry for using complicated technical terms on you :P).

Not sure if this is for forum issues only, but I can't get into the game right now. It just throws me the "We regret that the connection to the "The Settlers Online" server failed. Please try to reconnect. Should the problem persist, please visit the homepage and the forum for more information." error message. I can log in and obviously access forums, but can't get ingame.

The DNS part seems to resolve a lot of people's issues...

The issue has been reported and is currently being investigated. It appears it only affects users based in NZ.

Please inform me of any improvements and I will also let you know if I have any updates.

Well not this NZ user, but we have a mutual friend and as you know the only way she can get on currently is by using a proxy, the latest one going through Australia. We are with different ISP's so am unsure if it's a proxy issue with hers(all other sites work fine mind you) or your guys proxy or whatever needs a good kicking.

We have had some reports that the issue might now be sorted. Can anyone please confirm this or let me know if you are still having issues?

apw2, did you try clearing cache and cookies and following the advice on our forum (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/27498-Before-reporting-a-bug-try-this) to solve the issue? If you are still having issues after following that advice, please let me know.

Also, I know some of you have already done this, but please also send in a ticket to support describing the exact problem

Thank you!
