Achievement "Red Mountains"

Even though the Red mountain achievement shows 5/3, it is not counted.

I understand that I may have to refill copper deposit instead of finding copper deposit with a larger capacity with the appropriate skill, but if that would be the case, they shouldn't be counted.

Hello yes i have the same problem, so atm got 3 of my mines paused hoping it will clear. Not sure if i refresh it will clear it with them being paused but will give it a go and if not will wait patiently for this little problem to be solved.

I manage to complete that stupid achievement, you have to find 3 normal deposit and get them above 800 using add deposit buff. But it doesn't change anything that progress bar or numbers are bugged.

just completed red mountain achievement by adding more deposits to the 6 already found mines. hopefully this helps everyone else who is struggling.

Adding to deposit didn't work for me. Just bought 3 add copper deposits and placed on three mines with 300 odd ore in so they all now have 800+ ore in. Achievement hasn't registered.

I'm not going to waste my time raising this with support as the last ticket I logged in December 2012 (yes, 18 months ago) still hasn't been sorted - locked quest "more sectors"

Yes I got the same. 3/3 showing but not completing. I don't have any endless copper mines and used guild coins to get cooper diviners to top them up - No way am I doing 6 copper mines when it should be completing with 3 as requested. Have paused them till BB sort it

yes my 3 copper mines were over 800 units yesterday, built mines up to level 5, found new ones this morning and made them over 800 units... sigh... still wont complete and says the same thing 4/3..
Hopefully fixed soon.

I see some people have completed this quest when all six mines are over 800... Makes it hard if Endless Copper Mines are Not included!... lol. :D

my is completed it shows 4/3 mines but didnt get the reward and i done also island of the pirates losing only recruits and withc of the swamp whitout using any soldiers and i get no rewards and i think i didnt get diamonds too from other achivments

Have read somewhere that using a MMA on wots without using soldiers will not complete the achievement due to a bug, you have to use normal generals.

Could be same for iotp.

Ok, I think its bad translation, you need to invest 3 manuscripts in bigger Copper mines (so your geo finds mines with more then 800 copper) Once i did it this way and my geo actually found copper mines with 820 starting copper the quest came up completed.

Well you don't have to invest but you would be silly not too, the bug is though people are finding 3 with 800+ and it's not completing but if you find 6 at once it does complete which was the case with me.

Yeah, I depleted all my coper mines, sent out my geologists found 800 plus deposits on all 6 sites and got the achievement...

So basically it should say find 6 at the same time!

"For now" at least - It seems to be more "All (3 or more) open deposits" than it is a specific number (and even that may stick at times):

Completed with 3 when a Geo skilled in finding extra copper (3 Manuscripts on Natural Copper Vein) rediscovered the three fallen in s4.

Endless Copper Mines, undiscovered deposits (no node icon) and fallen mines aren't (or shouldn't be) counted.

All the working mines and nodes pictured were below 800 to start and each of the four islands was done all in one go, not 'Do one deposit, wait a day, do another, repeat.'

If you have an old mine standing from before Maintenance on the 22nd (or whenever this bit of Achievements kicked in) and the quest is sticking you may need to run it down completely (or blow it up) and find it anew to reboot it.

There is also, as ever, lag. Sometimes it takes a while to register but these four all *ting-ed* immediately when the last topped 800.

I think only 100% workaround is to demolish ALL ordinary Copper mines (no need to touch Endless Copper mines) and start from scratch, sending out geologist(s) to find all copper deposits again.

I have found a bug in the achievements menu.

I have several times now raised 3 copper mines to more than 800 ore but Haven't got the achievements for it.

If you read the thread, you will find this problem has already been reported. The workaround is to have all 6 deposits at 800+ and then it will complete. The devs are also working on fixing this.

It looks like I just wasted three x 250-any-deposit refills on copper mines that were already above 800; the achievement didn't complete. It sounds like I should have used them on mines below 800. It's taken me a month to save those up. Please fix.

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, but the actual problems is that you need a minimum of 3 copper mines above 800 but none below 800. Of course it works if you have all 6 above 800 but just zapping three and getting the other three above 800 also works.
