Maintenance

3 weeks ago we were told maintenance was moving to Tuesday early hours.
Since then we have had 2 maintenances on Thursday.

Today there is no word of when this week's maintenance is - which I presume suggests it will be Thursday again. Frankly though, presuming and guessing isn't helpful when planning your buffs. Will it be tonight or 1.15am on Thursday?

yes, maintenance was originally going to be moved to tuesdays, we were then informed that it was being moved back to thursday. So maintenance will now be on thursday 01:15 BST until further notice.

Just to clear things up, weekly maintenance (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/21689-Maintenance?p=258591&viewfull=1#post258591) will be on Thursday this week and you can safely assume it will remain on Thursday until further notice.

I understand it's frustrating, but rest assured that should there be any change (changing to Tuesday for example), I will let you know the week before to enable you to prepare and plan your week.

I will let you know if I receive any updates on the issue.

I'm not a noob - I know that.

But then Ravel (who I understand is just passing on info from elsewhere) reported a permanent change to Tuesdays, here http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/21689-Maintenance?p=256902&viewfull=1#post256902 and in our G1, which never actually happened. Events have nothing to do with it. From what I recall, a change of maintenance team was the reason given. Why the hasty U-turn I have no idea, but it's a familiar scenario of confusion.

Thankfully Ravel has clarified that the announced permanent change to Tuesdays is no longer happening, so the matter is closed.

Most games have Wednesdays or Thursdays as maintentance days. I think we have too many Bank Holiday Mondays for a Tuesday to work that well.

Further info I just received: It appears the change to Tuesdays might still be happening after the World Championship Event (sometimes in July). Unfortunately this is not 100%, but, as previously posted, any change will be announced with time to spare (the week before), so rest assured I will make sure all communication channels are flooded (chat also) if that's the case. :)
