View Full Version : Towers on all adventures don't have a "red zone" and don't intercept

Playing this adventure for the fourth time this morning I noticed that genenerals were not intercepted as they should be, resulting in heavy losses for me.
First when attacking tower 13 and 15 my cavaleries were not intercepted as normally.
Then when attacking camp 10 I was supposed to be attacked by towers 9, which did not happen.

Intercepts happened however with wolves in the forests, which I coud fortunately avoid y retreating.

Anybody with similar expériences??

Robert

Yes. This happened to me when I played SftR immediately after the maintenance which fixed the MMA feature (cost me 100C, which was a lesson well learnt). It has been reported in several locations I have noticed.

There is a warning that comes with all the adventure guides that you should always check, e.g. with a battle simulator, especially after a change. Although this is impractical for the majority of us, it's good to wait for a bit and watch the forums after such a change . The first report of this bug was made within an hour of maintenance finishing.

Yeah right, as if it was intentional. It's amazing, how many bugs turn up every single update. Any 'real' company had fired those crappy coders long time ago.
I lost quite some troops myself on this bug. Can you tell?

It's not limited to Stealing from the Rich, it's watchtowers and reinforced watchtowers in general.

why is change a bug? it could be intended at which time it is just a game change

Towers have troops and attack zones, they are not there merely for decoration. Their intention has always been to intercept attacking generals, because this function has recently stopped, without an official announcement, is why it is a bug and not an intentional game change

Bumping this as a heads up since the fix is now incoming.

Fixes & Improvements

• Towers on adventure maps have an aggro range again

For many months now towers on adventures have been missing their red intercept zones:

They're due to return in the coming update on 27.01 so keep an eye out for them and be ready to retreat if needed:

I've used SFtR because it was handy but as Vopicus mentioned this has been true of all towers on adventures, not just "Stealing From the Rich."
