Buffs needed to complete all football matchs

For those who like the idea of completing all the matches in one go. I’ve count the total needed buff to do it.

(Red card/Foul *37)
(Sliding tackle/Pass *36)
(Corner ball/Pass *37)
(Foul/Header *45)
(Tackle/Foul *43)
(Sliding tackle/Tackle *38)
(Bicycle kick/Penalty kick *32)
(Header/Penalty kick *30)

hmmm so just to make the corner ball/pass i will need a minimum of 259 boots ?....at about 4 per collectable cycle thats 31days....lmao will this event last untill christmas so people can get to the final.....
has any one worked out the totals of each collectable parts we need to make all buffs needed that will be intresting just to see if it is at all possible for any one to finish the event......

Yes, was working out banana skins would take at least 25 days, but that was based on the earlier findings, since then they've dropped off.
Perhaps that's why dappadon is trying to corner the market on pumpkins, might get an earlier 'fulfilment' on that strategy ;)

just looking at the items i have so far...
shoulder pads 433 but no fists :(
grass 316 but no banana skins :(
helmet 281 but no springs :(
kinda hard to make buff when you only get 1/2 the mats,no point trying trade as every one is buying
this seems like a big fail to me....

Is it even possible to get enough collectables now we've had extra maintenance twice and the first day cancelled?

Actually, the first day being cancelled was the best thing that happened to the event. BB gave out free collectibles to make up for the failure of the first day, more than anyone could have actually got by themselves, which meant it was pretty easy to do the first match immediately.

If the event hadn't broken on day 1, it would have been a nightmare! There would have been loads more complaints that "I can't finish the first match! I don't have enough collectibles!"

I suspect we'll all be given another bunch of free collectibles when this special maintenance is over, too.

Basically, the event is being "saved" by the fact that it is so broken that BB keep on having to dish out freebies!

You also get the event resources through treasure search. If you don't use your explorers to help you, you are missing out.
Additionally you get some from the daily quests.

Glancing at the list, so far I have nearly 50% of what I need and its only 1 week in :)

having already done the first 2 matches I've worked out I need 267 more buffs to complete the rest.
So far I have made 171 of them.
I still need to make
18 Tackles
15 Bicycle kicks
20 Sliding tackles
20 Penalty kicks
23 Corner kicks

The big ticket collectables for me are Pads, Studs, Springs and Shoes

Hi you cant get shoes from treasure hunts, Only finding them on your island, trading, daily quests, adventure loot :)

how can any one work out what you need when each match has a different amount of buffs needed per player ??

also i have 470 grass, 320 shoulder pads , 304 helmets, 252 studs, 179 twister, 131 grease, 105 corners, 92 red, 81 telescope, these i find on average 3-4 each item found.

then i have JUST 19 springs, 14 banana, 14 shoes, 8 fists !! these i find if lucky ONE per item found and maybe JUST 2 a day if really lucky.

not a chance to complete the matches as we have another 4 matches to go and if it continues as it has we will need around 10+ buffs just for the goal keeper .

finding shoes/spring/fist is really a joke....
done 20 adventures none,finding on island in 1's and 2's every 12 hours or so.
good luck in trading for shoes/fists/springs at 15gc a pop (shoe),11gc a pop (spring),50gc a pop (fists),thats a lot of gold to be spent just to get some buffs made.....
the lack of these items really suxs....i am betting there will be over 50% of players who dont find enough of them to complete the matches....unless your on a german server :P

I have two accounts, My lvl 50 will complete this with ease, My lvl 32 has no chance of this at all, I very much doubt I will obtain one friary or scout with this account.

Think I might stop doing the matches and cash in by trading everything I find, as I am still not finding any shoes and the prices I can get from trading are huge......probably work out better in the long run.

Shame as I really like the variety these special events bring to the game.

Yes Sliding tackles and Corner balls will do for those, no passes needed for those footballers

Why in the world would you go for "corner balls" costing 8 "shoes" if you can use "pass" costing 7 "shoes" ?

"Scopes" aswell as "corners" are assumable readily available, so go for as many saved "shoes" as possible, since they are on off the bottleneck items.

Could somebody enlight me in this. Do i really need to complete all matches (all except finals done), or do we get something else than 350 fb's from match itself + 100 fb's for completing the quest chain. I calculated that i got the missing 150 fb's i need to get lucky explorer much cheaper than going buy missing collectibles and getting those 450 fb's. Do we get something else for completing this quest chain ? Can i use these collectibles that i won't most likely to be using in next fb-related event ?

Pass worked just fine for me, every time and I used them a lot.

Pelsepup, you only get the rewards ( Footballs) if you complete the match and the quest chain. If you do not need the footballs and haven't got the collectables I wouldn't bother as the xp for camp kills isn't going to boost your levelling up significantly, and xp/starcoins are the only thing you get for `part' completion.

Finished the match... used the balls to get two frozen manors and in the end I got two improved storehouses, and 4 floating manors... Just didn't need to really do the matches as the rewards were just meh!

Was it just the last match you experienced this with? I used 10 rain of arrows and 10 red cards for the last game, So I guess I didn't cross this bridge at all. Another bug eh? Must say im hardly shocked to hear this :(

How the heck did you get 4 Floatsies? I only had the option to get 2 from the thingie and I didn't get any gems from the event either ...

Some people on the first day clicked all the doors, and got all the stuff supposedly - 2 floaters and the imp storehouse right off the bat.
I didn't. :-(
