View Full Version : Co-op adventures
I've invited a friend of mine to one co-op adventure. Then I've discover, she is on holiday for several days, and she doesn't accept the invitation, but don't even rejected it........How long the game waits for her answer, and will be I able to invite another friend for the same adventure?

I think its after 6 or 8 hours the invite comes back as automatically declined
8 hours?.......I invite her 16 hours ago - yesterday........And nothing is changed

oh man then I dont know, pretty sure thats the norm on standard advs :(
The wait is 8hrs, if it doesn't automatically decline, you then need to open your outbox in mail, this will trigger the auto-decline.
I did it - open my mail box and now is worked......my friend is out of the adventure......Why have to be so complicated?!.....What have in common the mail outbox, and the adventure?!?!
The mail you sent to your friend with the invite has an expiration time in the mail box, by opening the outbox, the mail system recognizes the invite time has expired and declines it.
I must add that, yes it is frustating, but you imo should have checked with your friend before inviting, would have saved you a lot of frustration ;)
This is also known as a "work around". Something you do that can over come a bug. Hopefully they know about it and it will be fixed in future. I doubt many people know about this work around. Luckily those people that hang out in the help channel are mightily helpful folk...**hint hint** Kit_...very knowledgeable person!
This can be seen as a workaround but it is actually a bug fix as posted here (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/27268-Change-Log-20-02-2014).
As a side note, you should get the same result by visiting the zone of the friend you invited.

This is very poor development practices....wouldn't get away with that in the real world
