Try refreshing browser, if it doesn't work try clearing cache/cookies http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/25422 and then restarting browser.

Some buildings like the Tavern cannot be rebuilt for 24 hours after being destroyed. Unfortunately there is no indication that's what the issue is - all that happens is it disappears from your build queue as you described. If you have newly deleted your trade office it may be the case for that building also.

You can also try logging out for at least 30 minutes, before logging back in, this may resolve the issue. You can also send a ticket to support detailing your problem here http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/help-and-support.

Hopefully you will have your Trade Office problem sorted sooner than later.

There is no cooldown period on rebuilding though the game can get out of synch with itself.

As minion said (this was almost a simulpost) logging out completely for at least 15 minutes, half an hour to be sure, allows it time to straighten out and almost always fixes the building problem.
