View Full Version : When will a general sent to a non leader campl be intercepted?
When making my own block, I never know if a general going a normal camp (not the leader) will be intercepted by another camp.
I notice in some cases that a general going to a normal camp is not intercepted by other camps.
How does the game decide which camp (if any) will be intercepting?
The only thing I can guess is that it has to do with order of entering the red agro zone of the camps, but i haven't been able to find out.
Check this.. (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/19136-FAQ-How-to-Adventure!)
sometimes a gen will be intercepted by a camp if going for a diff camp. outlaws being 1 of them. if u use the guide it tells u not to directly attack 1 camp instead attack the leader so the gen avoides getting intercepted by a another camp in a diff sector and will then get distracted by the camp u actually want to hit. on that 1 u need to send 2 blocks to get at the leaders camp. but 1 of the blocks will go into a diff sector and get distracted so wont hit the camp u want blocked unless u send 1 of the blocking gens to the leader instead of the camp u want blocked. depending on the guide depends on the camp number but in the guide i use its camp 8 9 and 10. sending the block to 9 will get distracted so u need to send it to 10 then it will be distracted by 9 to get the block to where u actualy want it. Hope u understand. i know what im trying to say but have probs explaining it to others lol.

I've noticed inconsistency too - there are some situations where my general goes right next to a camp but it doesn't intercept, but most other times they would be picked up. So I can't explain it. The only way I've found to be sure is to test the attack first (combat preview button?) and see if an intercept will occur.
