Battle System Re-Balancing: First insights


Sneak peek is a brief information about one of the upcoming game versions and may not reflect the final status of the content.
After the game version is finalised, a corresponding Dev Diary will be published.

As most of you might know, we are currently performing tests for a new combat system. Don't worry though, as our current one will continue to be a part of "The Settlers Online". In order to give the new combat system a solid foundation, we decided to do a much needed general overhaul, especially to the balancing. The following systems are affected:


Attack Order
Player unit attributes
Enemy unit attributes
Skills
Resources and Costs
Adventure and General Changes

We will deploy the first version containing the balancing adjustments on the international test server, enabling you to test these changes early. Unfortunately, we cannot adjust most of the texts at the moment,
so a forum post (http://forum.tsotesting.com/threads/20506-Combat-Rebalancing) is being prepared to inform you about the most important changes.

The changes can be tested on the international test server (http://www.tsotesting.com/en/homepage).
It's planned to go live on Monday (Sept. 1st) around 15:00 (BST).

Please keep in mind that the upcoming test server game version is in an early state.
The final version may differ. After the game version is finalised, a Dev Diary will be published.
