View Full Version : Fairy Tale Castle - make it useful
In the absence of anything new I can purchase with beanstalks, my fairy tale castle has stood idle for months.
It takes up space that I would rather have available for other more useful work yards, but if I delete it and new content finally does come in, then I'll have to rebuild and upgrade it again - an extremely costly and time consuming matter.
It's a pretty building, but pretty isn't enough, especially when there's a big ugly Zzz over top.
so…
How about level 6? an upgrade that doesn't add any bean processing capability, but adds new population capacity. Perhaps 100 - 150 to make it worth the space it takes up.
Great idea! If only the devs could come up with ideas like that.

quite a good idea might be once you have upgraded a castle to 5 you can then demolish it back to star, the next time you build it hey presto its already level 5.
I'd still prefer it if beanstalks were useful as a currency though or if the castle could be used more like a workyard to produce weapons maybe.
yes, like the epic work yard
I agree the ftc is useless, a real shame really. Would be nice if BB could do a little something with it, you know for the long term. I never built one, doubt I ever will unless they act. Shame they didn't make the new level 6 upgrades require beanstalks/grout... that would have at least given in a long term purpose in the game.
What ever the solution is, I agree 100% its wasted as is.
Maybe the possibility to make grout from beanstalks
Really expensive building, and it has been sitting on pause for 95% time.
Give me something I can do with it.

I had a suggestion once in the direction of using Beanstalks to upgrade Magnificient Residences - which would serve a double purpose:
a) FT becomes useful after you have Major
b) Mag Residences become useful
some good idea's here i defiantly agree the ftc needs a second purpose or the beanstalks do

Made all I could in mine and deleted it. Just taking up space.
fairy tale castle big cost little to buy, how about adding more to make this a bit more worth while for higher lvl players, whats other players opinions
The option to change production is great, but it takes up a lot of room on island, and it is much too expensive to buff. Would love to be able to make some buff in provision house for this, so that I would not have to use beans.

+1 after a couple of weeks use the fairytale castle becomes a large and expensive island decoration.
We definitely need more things to buy with beans/stalks
A new level that would make it a population building.
A new level that produces some other resource from Beans
New stuff for beanstalks to give it purpose again
or maybe just ram some more PvP down our throats until we like it
its a status symbol. allows lvl50 players to indulge a lot of resources in something pretty much useless. leave it be :)
I'll need to get one before I can comment ;)

It also takes up loads of space. I would demolish it if I knew that I'd never need it again, but the prospect of upgrading it to level 5 again is not attractive should BB ever decide to give it a purpose again, so like many others I'm in limbo waiting patiently to hear if BB will ever develop the whole epic quest thing any further. Seems like everything has been abandoned for PvP and the most boring linear, mini adventures.
I rather love to see medium magnificent Residence with 300pop witch cost 10k beans and take size as two frozen manors. That would be popular stuff on server i guess :) or at least 250 pop :)

I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is the most likely solution if anything is to happen.
Would be nice if it could be switched to bean production. Even if it had a slow cycle rate, at least it would be doing something useful. It is a building that sleeps more than not.... how can that be worth investing in..?
