It seems like someone spilt coffee in the server again because I cannot log on. I was kicked out after seeing that guy banging a computer with a hammer for awhile and now I cannot get back in.

Getting the same thing trying to log into Northisle....
As soon as the loading screens finish I get a largely blank screen with that guy banging the hammer!

I have the same issue, i am not able to login to the game. I have tried several browsers and tried to clear the cache as well

And game worked fine till I tryed to get to main island from adventure. Chat worked too. Wanted to be safe before last attack, so refreshed game...

me too, cant get in on IE without connexion lost, and tried chrome and get the parsing syntax error

Wow this is good, paid RL cash to play with premium and cannot get onto the game, nice one. Bit like buying a car and not getting the keys. And this is before they dump the new combat system, Halloween stuff and the new thrill a minute exotic tree system onto an already over stretched server. Getting this when try to log on prntscr.com/4jkmyv

w02bb01.thesettlersonline.com is giving me 503 Service unavailable. So looks like one of the key servers crashed.

this happened today
my friend was ok, till he tried to visit a adventure I had started, now hes got the same thing as soon as he tried to visit he got connexion error and cant get back in

Hi all , just got booted out about 1345 due to connection server loss, now getting the same "parsing/syntax " message as above.
Have tried new adobe upgrade,cleared all caches as BB Ravel suggested , turned PC off and on etc, still no joy and keep getting the message.
Have sent message to support ,so hopefully they may help!!
I'm trying to get the achievemnt for completing Victor the Vicious in less than 6 hours. If they don't get the server up and running again I won't be able to make it and I really do not want to run another VtV because BB messed up again. I wonder if I can get them to repay the wasted resources.
The settlers online servers seems down :)

they have put a note on homepage now saying they are trying to sort the issue, looking at other posts on the forum all European servers having same problems

Strange.. I am still logged into Sandy Cove and working away fine, barring a few times the guy with the hammer has popped up with the "trying to re-establish connection" message.

I too have the same problem, just when it was the day for my 100 gems. The report is - The client was unable to load a data file. Delete your browser cache and try again. This of course does absolutely nothing for me.

hi all, I was wondering if anyone had/has the same problem.
I was playing the game yesterday fine, then went off for a very short while, and when I came back on.
The homepage wouldn't load properly, as in just the pictures within the BB news threads that wont load.

And since that happened. I can't get into the game anymore. Clicking on Play Now, I just get a white screen with the circling loading symbol in the tab bar. (on chrome. In firefox I just get the loading symbol in the tab bar, but it stays on the homepage).
I've tried a bunch of things.
1. restarting browser
2. Clearing cache and history and everything else possible in browser
3. Chrome is my primary browser, tried firefox and Internet Explorer too.
4. Restarted computer numerous times.
5. Restarted modem/router.
6. Reset Modem/router to factory settings.
7. System Restore on computer to 2 days previous, when the game was still working.
And it still doesn't work. I know the problem is on my end (I think...) since everyone else can still log on and play normally.
And its not my account specifically since I have a friend logging into it to look after it (refind deposits mainly).
Its been about 18 hours, give or take since it broke. I sent a ticket to support last night too. but I'd be lucky to get one reply late today,
and then have to wait till next Monday again for another reply.
Assuming you have no other internet problems, there is one more thing I would try:
Go to a friend or relative's house and try it on their computer. If you can login there it's probably either your PC has been bombed or BB's server has taken a dislike to your home IP address. If it doesn't work there either then I would say that's almost conclusive proof that your account has been corrupted.
I believe the problems are in fact at the server end. Making sure you have an up to date version of flash and clearing Flash's own cache might help (different to clearing your browser cache), but it seems many players have been experiencing similar problems - stalled log-ins, very slow log-ins, frequent disconnections etc…

i'm sorry for the slow reply, i've been out all day with appointments.
And I must be leaving shortly again and wont be back till tomorrow afternoon.
I'll see if I can do at least some of what you've said Fexno, now, and will update you all tomorrow afternoon when I get time to do the rest :)
Ok update today/now instead. I was eager to try and fix it, so i stayed a bit later than intended.
i've done everything you said Fexno. Another modem reboot. Flushed the dns. And cleared cache of all 3 browsers again (without any tso stuff open), and still the same problem for all 3 browsers. (and I did the hard refresh for each of the browsers too)
Also by the way, support replied. Literally they wrote one line of a reply outside of the hello stuff and the signing off. It was;

I can't believe they get paid for this, and Fexno - doing it out of his/her own free time, went through the effort of giving a nice detailed reply, with instructions, lol.
But yeah, since its still not working. Do you think I have to get onto my ISP now? And if so, exactly what do I tell them? My internet is working fine, all but one game, and it has something to do with the dns? I've never had to get onto my isp before, so i'm not certain :(

I don't think its the account. I have a friend logging in semi-regularly (from another country too, so not even the same isp) to refind deposits/etc and he's not having any trouble logging into the account or playing the game on the account.

Same issue. Done all above and none work.
One thing i can rule out... My second laptop at home on the same internet connection is working (no problem playing). The other laptop and my desktop are a negative. Both where working fine yesterday around 17:00 hour (or so) and three hours later (when i got home again) nothing anymore.
On the not working systems i now have a far newer flash player then on the working, so that is also not the problem it seems.
Got the same reaction from support, please flush dns and restart...
Al systems are running win8.1 fully update on automatic. Only difference i did just find, i installed a new 64-bit flash player on the not working systems and the working has an old 32-bit version (not sure if the not working systems already had a 64-bit flash player installed thou?!)
I'm not 100% certain - but given the evidence over many months whenever there is an issue about "static14.cdn.ubi.com" (or similar) it's because there are problems at BB's European server farm. From what I understand they contract the maintenance out to a third party (based on information from the last occasion when login was blocked for many hours). But as it's now already "the weekend" I have a great fear that the people who know the number to call may not be back until Monday :(.
I hope I'm proved wrong.
<edit>There is definitely something interrupting internet traffic to the BB servers. I managed to get back in after an age of trying different things, and even the game reporting that I sent a jolly out to search took maybe a minute or two before it responded.
I tested my connectivity by playing a game from the U.S. which is very sensitive to internet lag, and it ran smoothly.
This may of course be nothing to do with BB: if their local ISP is upgrading it can have this effect - I doubt it but it's possible!

Yeah, my trouble started when I earnd the 100 gems. I all days try to play, but it stoped on the Map loading.
A created other account, and that is work fine.

I am also unable to log in since last night, i refreshed due to a building not showing it was upgrading and it now gets stuck at the "tip of the day " screen no matter how long i leave it.
I have done everything from the guide i found in the forum that recommends clearing caches, checking browser and adobe are up to date etc but still no luck.
I visited a friend and tried to log in at theres but still couldnt and they visited me and can log in as normal at mine. My friend also said that they are unable to visit my island but can visit everybody elses.

Im sorry to hear you have the same problem Elma, but glad im not alone. My biggest concern is will we lose our log in bonus even tho we have tried to log in, i normaly get my 100 gems tomorow and im 29 days from completing the "Fan"(play for 6 months achievement) worth 250 gems.
Iv also heard after 24hrs from last login our production stops, i do hope this is not true.
For me it works again. No further actions taken by me. Just works...
It's a heist! They're locking us out and nicking my brew!

same ere but had this problem a few months but if i login were the blue round login sign is and the box comes up login there and the man starts hammering then close that and then login again at the top and the man starts hammering wait 10 secs then you get a error box saying page needs to refresh click okay and then it logs in and your on

That's exactly what I have to do every time too.
A hotfix for this issue will be deployed early tomorrow morning.

wow another day gone due to maintenance. really 5hrs to fix the syntax error? dont they ever check the changes they make or even test. Every maint something gets broken. Its great they are fixing it and actually know whats wrong, but 5hour outage during my day. Thats 2 days I now miss during the event. No big deal but the 5hrs sounds like a long time to fix something like this. Then again what would I know, maybe it takes 2 hours to reboot the servers.
