Whats with the egg timer!!!!!

for the past 2-3 weeks everything i do seems to bring up the egg timer which just spins and spins...what the hell are BB playing at!!!
i dont want to sit at my pc trying to play a game which just produces a egg timer everytime i do anything....place a trade on t/o....egg timer...set gens up egg timer....there was a shutdown for a hotifx this week but nothing has changed did u actually do anything to stop this crappy egg timer.
maybe its time for you to trade up from dial-up to broadband this is a joke......

Yup... They know they didn't fix the lag!

Support has admitted to me that the devs are confused as to why the 'hot fix' did not fix the lag... and yet they downed tools for the weekend and left us to suffer it instead of removing the Exploration Week in an emergency maintenance on Friday, which would have been the prudent move, in my opinion.

But what do I know? I am just a paying customer on the receiving end of a boat load of extremely frustrating lag any time I try to do anything in this game. The people in BB who can actually implement a 'roll back' to the previous game version care so much about the opinions of my peers and I that, no matter how eloquently or sensibly we make a request of that nature, it is not possible for support to forward it to them, because they have "absolutely no contact" with them.

In fact, the advice I have received from support basically boils down to them telling me to cross my fingers and hope they figure it out sooner rather than later. Can't blame the guy I have been speaking to one little bit, as he has obviously just been trying to make the best of a bad situation and, frankly, I wouldn't do his job for all the tea in China.

However, it seems that this is just the latest way that the devs have found to break something that was previously working fine, only this time, instead of testing it properly, they have sent it direct to the live servers and, considering I am told there has been an "influx of tickets" that often contain feedback that is "extremely vulgar, and angry", it doesn't take a genius to conclude that such a bull-headed move has irritated a huge number of paying customers... (sarcasm) what a great plan that was! (/sarcasm)

I just wish they would take half the time they spend fixing things that ain't broke and instead devote it to fixing things that are broken!

Anyway... rant over, at least for now.

Normal 'Oz' service will resume when the dreaded lag-beast has been slain!

whats even worse now is its near impossible to your trade as all i get is egg timer for about minute every time i go to post anything on trade.....ffs get soem one in who know what they doing instead of the monkeys you hired atm!!!!
